They replaced Mack Hollins with Josh Palmer and didn’t replace Amari cooper but he was also not on the field a lot of the season. It’s ok I guess.

I think Palmer is the Cooper replacement. They are paying him like a significant guy. Shavers is the Collins replacement at the moment imo.

Hope cooper comes back for a cheap one year deal. He’s a good dude and can stretch the field. Had a couple clutch plays in his limited playing time too

I see Laviska Shenault as the Collins replacement.  I agree with you on Palmer.

How can he be a Hollins replacement, what with his love of foot prisons and cats?

I just can’t take him seriously anymore. He’s totally lying about not prioritizing D. You traded up twice for DTs. These softball questions from these reporters are a joke. Beane says I want to make it hard for someone to make the team on the D line, I want to get the best guys and make it competitive. ASK HIM “if what you said about d line competition is true, why don’t you ever do the same for the WR room? Do you think you’re giving Josh the best weapons to work with and choose from?…Just be honest and say, hey I’ve got a coach who loves the defense and we don’t care if Josh doesn’t have weapons because we’re going to bleed him dry until he can’t be Superman anymore. He’s so fake and he does that stupid face where you know he’s lying too. I still like him as our GM but I just hate the schtick after years of the same ol results with no real help for Josh

What’s so frustrating is Josh doesn’t need a lot. If you give him a WR each year he will elevate them - look at Shakir. It’s the not taking a chance that hurts.

And it’s because we have had to subsidize the defense. Since Josh was drafted in 2018, we have drafted 4 DTs, 4 DEs, 3 LBS, and 2 corners in the first three rounds of the draft. We have drafted 1 WR in that timeframe (2 if you include Diggs). And yet because our defense was bad last year we had to give EVERY asset to a unit that already has gotten so much. This comes down to Beane not drafting great and McDermott not getting everything he could from what he has been given

I wasn't an Ivey fan but he was projected pretty early.  Pretty sure he wasn't even drafted.

Boogie Basham immediately came to mind where he's a tweener type that isn't a system fit for the Bills no matter what their grade on him is.

OK but under great restraint and on my best behavior, no?

The Bills have one of the best OLines in the NFL and just spent 3 of their top 4 picks on defensive trenchmen from the SEC.

And it's still not enough for you. 🤷‍♂️
