At some point you need real talent rather than Jags like Shenault and Shavers who are our WR5 and 6. The reason we are at this place of people begging for WRs is because we barely ever draft them. The Chiefs keep drafting guys, the Eagles WR is stacked, the Lions have a star and former first rounder Williams and just drafted a guy in the third, the Ravens have two first round WRs even if Bateman isn’t great. I'm a defense guy and your an offense guy. Here's the thing. You're right. We haven't really done much for the WR room. BUT, you talk about KC and Detroit. Detroit lost in the championship game, same as us. KC lost to the Eagles because the Eagles defense. As the old saying goes, Defense wins Championships.😉😇😁 1 Quote

Expand You think they inquire about Pickens or Jameson Williams if indeed they are up for trade? I know they come with some potentially huge baggage/issues but both are legit and proved so in this league. one just can’t do it consistently because of his attitude. the other because of health. Expand The Bills offense needed to be great last year because the defense wasn't. The Bills felt that the DL and the defensive backfield needed serious attention. I'm not going to argue with that. Defense wins championships. Moreover, the Bills did take an OL prospect and a blocking TE prospect to protect Allen. A QB needs targets, but he needs protection more. I'm among those who believe that KC would have 5 SB rings if they had protected Mahomes better against the Bucs and Eagles. It's also possible that both Kincaid and Coleman, who both did not play particularly well after they came back from injury, improve considerably this coming season since they're both young players, and that would more than make up for the loss of Cooper and Hollins. 1 Quote

Expand Yes protecting our franchise QB is good, I’m glad we finally figured that out. I hope Kincaid and Coleman do better too, but in case they don’t it would be nice to have a few talented players in the pipeline. I trust Josh to get much more out of resources than I do McDermott. I was very happy with day 1 and 2, just wanted something more for Josh today. Quote
