I watched NFL Network for this year’s draft. They’re not perfect, but they’re much more enjoyable (& much less annoying) than ESPN.

What bugs me is they abandon the draft very early for celebrity cameos, coach interviews, analysis which has already been done 100 times before, meeting puppies and games. It feels disrespectful towards the later picks, especially as they are ones that people will know less about in general.

Old news.  Every time they do the pumpkin pie thing it is brought up.  Mel is a strange duck but knows his stuff on the draft.

The Patriots seriously just drafted a Long Snapper at 251.

By all accounts Sanders should be a great pick.  Walker seems like coaching would make the biggest difference for him.  Who has more upside Sanders or Walker?

My wife (who knows football pretty well, but doesn’t pay attention to draft prospects and whatnot) asked if we can change the channel from NFL Network to ESPN for a few minutes to check in on Mel… 

 

Except she doesn’t know his name is Mel, he’s just that weird dude they only roll out for the draft.

There was word that Kenneth Grant has a weird personality but man he couldn't have gone to a better situation for weird personalities cause Mike McDaniel is a weird mfer
