Joshua Farmer: “WTF?”

I thought the same thing.  I don't pretend to know anything about either of them, but they did visit with Farmer, Farmer was rated higher, and Farmer was right there at value.

Trust the process

Josh Allen will get us points we also added pieces

everyone complaining about a smaller DT are now complaining it’s not offense

I wasn't complaining about smaller DT. Outside of Josh and Cook, if he isn't sulking, the offense is average at best. They're hoping Shakir continues to grow and Kincaid/Coleman recover their pre-injury form. If they don't...

Stop whining.

Do you people realize the defense kept the Bills out of the SB last year?

I’m fine with getting as many able bodied defensive players as possible.

They can always pick up a speed WR somewhere along the line.

You are correct sir

People seem to forget that the defense was a liability last season.   They have brought in size and speed to the defense in the draft and in free agency.   Stoked about the defense.   Next round we should see a shift to offense.   Blocking TE and a deep threat WR.

Josh was playing out of his skin last year to keep the Bills in. It's not unreasonable to expect he may regress slightly compared to that. At some point, he needs support from the WR room. The Bills need to try something.

I hope Simon's right, and there's maybe a trade or FA lined up.

Ya good point the defense is usually good in the playoffs outside of last year…round 8 we will get a WR I’m sure

Average at best? It was the top scoring offense in the regular season and playoffs.

One of the key points there:

“The sweet spot for Walker early in his career will be as a specialized weapon in a heavy rotation. Give him 20-25 snaps per game where he can pin his ears back and hunt, especially in a multiple-front defense that lets him work from different alignments. His natural power and surprising lateral quickness create consistent problems for interior offensive linemen, particularly when he's schemed into one-on-one situations.”

Thats the Bills. I like it. He’s huge. Conditioning, effort, and pad level issues are all fixable.

I really hate that I always have to be this guy, but why does this regime continue to undervalue WR more than any other position? They have spent none of their top picks giving some help to their MVP. It's so on brand it's almost parody.

Maybe I'm wrong about Royals and/or Horton and they'll still be on the board at the end of R5. I'll hope so.

Really not that surprised by our draft thus far. We complained all season about the Bills needing to improve the D with greater speed, bulk and youth. Thus far Beane has done all of that in a defensive leaning draft.

Two DT’s, CB and DE. Now we have to hope they picked the right ones. Each one comes with some concerns.

Hairston: Tackling

Sanders:  Stopping the run

Jackson:  Still developing

Walker:  Consistency and work ethic
