McBeane must think Coleman, Palmer, Samuel, Shakir, Knox and Kincaid would keep a rookie WR on the bench.

But we should have taken a speedster/route runner anyway.

McBeane are idiots if they think those guys keep some of the guys we could have taken on the bench

Brashard Smith please!! We need some type of offensive weapon out of this draft. Cannot believe we are being so neglectful. The only single skill player on our offense who even remotely might scare you is Cook, and he may be sitting out this year we have to prepare for that. We have to take a swing at receiver in the first at some point. Watching Zay Flowers and BTJ almost slide to us in back to back years and doing nothing is so defeating. Really hope Golden doesn't do well or else we may have to admit Beane isn't as good as we think.

I know nothing about the player, but I just don't understand the positional pick.

He is gonna be a practice squad player as there's a log jam at tackle .

Why not pick a guy who actually has a legit chance to Make the roster this year.. Punter? Speed Receiver? Linebacker depth?

Don't you guys think he can either beat out Van Demark or be similar to him (and thus more valuable due to his rookie contract) so Beane can deal RVD to a 5th round pick or so?

I mean the thought either has to be he can play some guard or he is in direct competition with RVD for that last spot.

Get ready for a hundred screens to Shakir and Kincaid again

The fact he ignored WR help the entire draft is BS.

We had a lot of needs. You can't force a pick if the value isn't there. Like i've said a million times, it just means they'll be looking at veterans post Draft for that extra spot instead of the Draft.

If he doesn't bring in anyone else from the veteran market from here to Training Camp, it's fair to get upset. But it wasn't a great WR class to begin with. And the value was more elsewhere.

To take a potential guard for next year while ignoring a clear needs this year, and in the future, is damn stupid.

What need can they fill at this selection?  Please share.

Name one WR in this draft that we had a realistic chance to draft that would have more attempts, catches, and yards than our top 3 WRs currently on the roster. I bet you can't.

PS is necessary as there are injuries in this game.  Not same position but we did lose Will Clapp, just adding a backup on the line I would think.  Also Doyle is gone too.
