It's more than just a loss of a pick. Whomever Drafts him will have to answer to why they're supporting someone criminally charged with SA. They'll have to explain why they think law enforcement is wrong during an ongoing criminal case. On top of all of that, with him being charged with such a heinous crime - odds are the league will put him on the exempt list until the legal process plays out. Including a trial that could take years.

He will not be Drafted and he shouldn't be Drafted. After reading the affadavit, it's pretty gross to hear and Bills fan say "I don't care, he's talented".

The araiza thing was such a sh*tshow even with the DA saying there was no evidence to do anything criminally.  I can’t even imagine what this is gonna be like

Who says Cooper won't be back?

He wasn't good.  Sorry overall he looked like a shell of the guy we hoped to get.  I think many of us would have rather kept the 3rd round pick.

Look, I am thrilled with most of the defensive picks, but it's absolutely criminal not to address WR in the 4th with who all was there.

Josh still needs help, and help who has SPEED.

Have no doubt the D will be better and all of us are thrilled, but you can address offense as well.

Sounds like the complaints last year and we were fine.

The Bills may need to get bigger meeting rooms for the cornerbacks and defensive line. Talk about stacking positions.

Also, Bills Points Scored Rankings last five years:

2024: #2

2023: #6

2022: #2

2021: #3

2020: #2

This draft is exactly what we needed. Lot of versatility added to the D-line and CB rooms too. That will help with the NFL kind of split right now...some teams moving back to heavier ground games (Baltimore, Philly, etc.), while others are still more passing/finesse (KC, LAR). Now, we should hopefully be able to run zone or man equally as well, and go either big and stout or fast and penetrating on the D-line depending on the circumstances.

I hope they still take a shot on an outside receiver. Andrew Armstrong from Arkansas who I featured in my sleepers thread is still there and Will Sheppard out of Colorado who was one of my Shrine Bowl standouts and who the Bills have met with.... neither of them are all that fast - 4.51 and 4.59 respectively.... but they are legit outside receivers you can at least allow to compete in camp.

They did meet with Sheppard so there is a possibility there. I also wonder if the Bills wont draft one this late now because they will be able to attract more of them in the UDFA market by having a legit open roster spot or if they promote Shavers to the active roster, which I think is a legit possibility at this point, opens up a practice squad position.

Yea I’m more positive about what we’ve done for this year but even I’ve gotta agree with this.  Even if cooper comes back I don’t think he changes much

It would be one thing if it was a he said/she said thing that you could let play out, but it seems like there is pretty credible evidence of guilt. When you are apologizing, offering hush money, and blaming alcohol...I mean, those aren't things innocent people do, right?

Gadget/special teams fodder. We’d rather have these Curtis Samuel types than actual vertical threats for some reason

What was Hollins then?  Seems like similar people except for the costumes

I wouldn't be shocked if not only is he not drafted....he's not signed as an UDFA by anyone. No one wants to take on that kind of heat during an open case. Look how long it took AFTER everything was settled for Punt God before someone took a shot...and he was never charged.

Bond most likely will not see an NFL snap.

I was hoping for more, but Cooper made a lot of big plays and he was playing with a pretty serious injury at the end of the season...I think the Bills would take him back at the right price.
