We added no additional, upgraded talent. Palmer will be OK, but our WR room as a whole sucks. Kincaid hasn't developed for $#@! If we are top 15 in offense and scoring in 2025, it will be a win. MVP and we don't further upgrade his help? I guess we just forget the offseason even happened 🤷 added a good wr3, at this point in the draft nothing is an upgrade 1 Quote

sven233 Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM (edited) A lot of people out there saying we aren't help Josh Allen. And, while I can agree with that, I think the Bills are looking at it a bit differently. It looks to me they are jut telling Josh, go out and do what you have done the last few years and we will do everything in our power to make sure the defense doesn't let you down in big spots again. And finding a way to make that 1 last stop is how they think they are helping Allen. Now, to me, I think Allen is the best QB in the league and instead of playing to your strength, you are holding him back. Sure, we score 30 a game. Great. You know what's better? Scoring 35-40. Surround the dude with fast, explosive talent and just run teams out of the building. But that's just now how they want to go about it. The good news is, that we can score 30 with this offense and that we are only a couple of trades away for legit WRs from getting to that next level. I am just not sure Beane is going to try and make those deals at this point. Edited yesterday at 08:02 PM by sven233 1 1 Quote

You know NFL defenses do exactly that.. right? It will be something like the field-side corner (covering the lone receiver) to play man coverage on the #1 receiver (the outermost receiver on the weak side) while the boundary-side corner and nickel back to play zone on the three-receiver side, splitting the field into quarters. The strong safety plays a deep half zone on the three-receiver side and the free safety to play a deep quarter zone on the field side, providing help over the top of the man coverage. davefan66 Posted yesterday at 07:59 PM Posted yesterday at 07:59 PM Supposed to be a weak draft. At this point drafted or UFDA are they kinda the same? Quote

Kmart128 Posted yesterday at 07:59 PM Posted yesterday at 07:59 PM I know everyone wants a WR but it is pretty picked clean except for Bond and we all know the issue there. Why reach for a WR just for sake of drafting a WR. Once Lambert Smith and Horton got taken I think it took 2 of our top guys off the board 1 Quote

Its not like the WR core is even really considered to be top 16 Beane said multiple times that he didn’t see a need at WR. Now, I think many of us disagree, but once past the 4th there was nothing at WR to take. I think that other than Hancock they have nabbed guys that can make the team in Strong (CB) and Hawes (blocking TE). I’m not sure that any of the WRs late would make the team. Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted yesterday at 08:00 PM Posted yesterday at 08:00 PM Last thing I will say on Bond, just don’t want to have controversial convos… Bills are one of the handful of teams who had him in for a top 30 before everything went crazy for him. We are also one of the only teams who did not draft a WR. Perhaps they have some sort of UDFA deal worked out. But outside of Bond I don’t think there are any difference makers left at that position. It doesn't feel like the talent or, more importantly considering the point where we expected a WR to be drafted, variety in the WR room. Quote
