I've gotten myself here. And I hate myself for it. But we've gotten to a point where the upside outweighs the risk. 1 Quote

It's good with some productive guys, but it's not fun. That's what people are angry about, even if they won't admit it. Bengals fans get to buy Ja'marr Chase jerseys and get to watch him every Sunday. We have to watch dink and dunk because we have zero athletes at the position that is most fun to watch in the sport. 1 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted yesterday at 07:34 PM Posted yesterday at 07:34 PM Why? Another blocking TE? Dear God... 1 Quote
Mister Defense Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM 5 minutes ago, Dr. Who said: I think we found Beane's burner account @Mister Defense. Very original! And I am honored, as this is by far my best, as it will be the most consequential, draft with the Bills, and in my entire career. Go go and go some more on defense! More to come, we think... 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Jackson Hawes was in my top 10 rankings for TE's. He is a monster blocker at the TE position. He also will put Reggie Gilliam's job in jeopardy as well and he will play special teams. Hawes is an excellent pick to compliment the two guys we already have in the room. 2 1 Quote

This is your emotions running amuck because you want a WR so you want them to select one regardless of the likelihood of success. I think people’s expectations are wayyyy too high for 5th round players if I had a takeaway from todays message board activity haha 2 3 Quote
T.E. Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Got the defensive covered, now the priority is special teams. It actually is funny. Quote
GunnerBill Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM Posted yesterday at 07:35 PM An average level athlete blocking tight end. It is offense. But barely. 1 3 Quote

Teams know how to attack our offense that has no speed after watching it last year. Quote
TFBillsfan Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Crazy they see TE as a need over S, WR and LB. Kincaid, Knox, Davidson and Gilliam but let’s draft another TE that realistically isn’t making the roster. 1 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM I don’t get the lack of WR considerations here. I guess we hit the market on UDFA and street FA’s. No way we go in the season with our starting 4 guys. Quote
The Jokeman Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM If he makes the team get ready for, Did you know this kid played at Yale? Quote
HappyDays Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Hawkes is seen as the best blocking TE in the class and has played over 400 special teams snaps at Georgia Tech. Fine enough selection to fill out the roster at this point in the draft. 1 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Ok. A TE3 before S or WR. It's official. The Bills feel those rooms are set. I'm willing to bet they already have some verbal agreement with a WR to have bypassed the position. Kind of like they did with Lataviius Murray a couple years back Quote

But as a first offensive pick.... a blocking tight end.... Quote

Don't hate Gunner he's going to have a role in this offense this year, he'll be on the 53 and he's a physical football player in the run game. 1 Quote
