I like it honestly…I think Gabriel is a better fit but if sanders shows he can be coachable and expand his skill set he’s got a chance to be solid…it’s a 5th round pick after all

I don't understand the lack of attention to our free safety position.  I don't think we have a true free safety on the roster.  Maybe signing Justin Simmons after the draft?

We have rapp and bishop, should be enough to get it done

They will go into the this season and most likely the next with what have and have done for the last bunch of years.  Journeyman QB’s who help in the QB room. 
 

Honestly, who was available this draft who you’d feel would provide the wins we would need in case of “break glass in case of emergency”?

I don’t mind for a second the message Shedeur received, and if I’m a Browns fan I’m loving the value. He could possibly be their guy, and they got him in the 5th.

I don't think the Bills use their safeties in such a cut and dry manner.

Bishop is a great athlete and I'd love to see him there soon.

Better pass rush equals better play by the DB’s.

 

They are comfortable without drafting safeties at this time. Late round depth pick?  Maybe.

Even with Hyde and Poyer they were more Hybrid, vs strong and free.

Taking what was thought to be a top 5 pick in round 5 is a good risk for Cleveland.

 

This is unprecedented to have someone projected that high fall that far down so quickly. The closest parallel that I could think of was Maurice Clarett about 20 years ago and that was for a more concrete reason.

Speaking of QBs, what are the odds we look for a developmental guy with one of our picks in the 5th. I know Howard has his doubters but he was very successful at OSU.

Rapp and Bishop seem to be much more strong safety types, not particularly close to even hybrid.
