Cleveland will be interesting to watch.   Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett, Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders competing for QB.

May be the worst possible team for Sanders career

How sad.   :)

I guess he doesn’t get to say “No, that’s not the team I want to go to.”

Agree. Wonder if Deion will step in to force a trade or release so he can sign with a team that would be more advantageous to him.

I don’t know if Shedeur will be a good NfL QB. But being a fifth round QB behind three other QBs, knowing a QB will probably be drafted next year is a horrible situation for long term success

They have a 4-QB logjam now. Good going, Cleveland.

If you have 2 QBs, you have none - If you have 4 QBs, you have none + none = none!

Watson has already been declared out for the season with the Achilles.

The Browns are getting mocked - but they did just get a guy that some thought they'd take in the top 5 in the 5th round.

Which would perhaps be a savvy move had they not drafted a QB less than 24 hours ago.

Qee are not drafting a QB high enough who will matter.

We will fill holes in the team to hopefully propel us to the next step.  Not a QB.

I’d argue that number 2 QB is way more important than a guy battling J’Marcus Ingram or Baylon Spector for the last roster spot. I 100% believe that. If Josh misses a month, do we miss out on the division? Home field? The playoffs?!? You can’t have that. If they think Trubisky is good enough, so be it. It certainly isn’t White. Soon, they’re going to have to draft and develop a guy. That’s what good teams do. The Pats did it behind Brady multiple times.

I get what you're saying but when you add up the small amount we're apart, it's further than we like to admit.  Again, not in the present, but in totality.

You talkin chiefs vs bills?  I think it’s a straight up 50/50 tossup imo.  We’ve really gotta grab the bye/home field one of these times.

im not sure how close we would’ve been to Philly in the superbowl hypothetically though

If they didn’t do the Gabriel pick (I see no upside in him), they are on paper having a really strong draft.

I would’ve traded up to the top of the 5th and taken Shadeur, if for nothing else than provide a quality, cheap backup at the most important position in pro sports… Upside, you got a legit insurance policy behind Josh, and then you flip him for a pick, or picks in a year or two to a QB needy team who are generally drafting near the top of the draft. Downside, you cut a late round pick?
