As someone else said a few minutes ago, the offense worked on otherworldly play from Josh, the O Line and Cook having a career year. They also managed to reduce turnovers to an amazing minimum. That is likely to regeress at least slightly to the mean next year. That means more players need to come to the party. Outside of Shakir, and even he had a slight decline at the tail end of the season, I have little faith in the WR room as it stands. The Bills need something different in there.

I don’t fully agree but we’ll see…turnovers will probably be up a bit but I think we’re crediting random chance too much for the turnover drop and not a concentrated effort by Josh and others on improving there

also I think guys like Samuel and Kincaid etc had down seasons and even if they are not up to some of y’all’s standards (which is understandable I’m not trying to say they’re all pros or anything lol) I think they’ll have considerably better seasons this year

A lot of what forced Josh into needing to contribute ‘otherworldly play’ was the defense being sh*t far too many times

I know you're kidding here - but the Pats fear on this board isn't very rational, imo.  It's more based on PTSD than on reality.

Their future depends entirely on if Maye ends up being more of the guy that flashed on a few amazing plays last year, or on the guy who kept throwing game-ending picks on the last drive.

What's going on is that very active posters on this board and professional NFL talking heads just spent 2 months comparing draft prospects to each other. Looking at it through this lens, you would have to say that the Pats have had a good draft. My response to that is "THIS DRAFT SUCKS!!!!" Nailing this draft might not move the needle all that much.

Dude could you imagine if they took him after the Araiza deal. Katherine Fitzgerald couldn't help herself during Beane's post draft presser yesterday bringing up a situation with Hairston that happened in 2021 that was later found completely unsubstantiated. Can't escape Fitzgerald and others if they take Bond

Oh I totally hear you. It’s just 50% of these things wind up unfounded and you are risking very little doing it here.

But I agree they won’t do it, but I would. Anyway I don’t want this to turn into those crazy Araiza posts so I won’t mention it again!

Yes, but we turned the ball over at a historically low level and struggled to establish a down field passing game. It's not realistic to expect that there won't be some regression to the mean, and we still have the same middling WR group.

Maybe so, but with a better D, maybe we can get an extra couple of stops to get a couple more opportunities on O. Or maybe not have to score 30+ points to win a game. 🤔😉

Keandre Lambert-Smith is the only guy left with big wheels.

Seems like a 1 trick pony comparable or worse than the existing veteran wr they have on the roster already.

The bills have two wr sitting in their wr room that were once upon a time 2nd round picks.

They must view all these guys as similar or close enough to not draft and then cut one of those veterans.

Agree Dave. I hope Hairston is immediate. If it turns into another Elam situation then the franchise should just scrap drafting secondary players and look to acquire them late in the draft or via trade as they’ve knocked that out the park.

I certainly hope so!

We have a new coach who is a man coverage guy. Hopefully the team in general makes the move and this is one of the steps.  I feel Elam was never a fit, regardless of the defensive philosophy. Just never seemed to learn from his mistakes. NFL is not a place to repeat your mistakes.

Ravens on paper seem to be having g a good draft.

Also, water is wet.

Sam Howell goes from future of the franchise in Washington, to 30 pips in the fifth round, in 2 years
