McD “Hey guys maybe we should’ve taken Troy Franklin over Carter…oops.” Beane “fair enough, now that we got 3 straight D lineman should we grab a receiver for Josh?” McD “Wait you promised me a safety” Beane “oh that’s right, I’m sure we’ll get our special teamer/receiver in the 6th or 7th, plus Josh isn’t on social media so we’re fine” It’s pretty foolish to write a draft pick off after one season, but Carter gives me Boogie Basham vibes. I don’t see anything he does particularly well, no overwhelming power, size, or athleticism. He’ll have to step it up for sure if these draft picks come in balling. 1 1 Quote

I think he is going to be really good still. Just now, TheWeatherMan said: Trubisky is not good at football that’s an understatement. But trubisky, white and even buechele are all super tight with Josh now. None are good. Yet we keep them because Josh likes them. 2 1 Quote

YUP Walker - Size and movement skills (assuming back injury is healed) Oliver - Explosive Sanders - Ultraviolence & power All 3 of their long term investments at DT have freaky traits. Carter has some burst, but he needs to make a big jump this offseason to get on the field once Ogunjobi comes back.. and that’s assuming Jones is a potential cut. Quote

He actually had a couple of big time stops right before he got injured. Then when he came back he didn't do much. Quote

They have spent none of their top picks giving some help to their MVP. It's so on brand it's almost parody. Maybe I'm wrong about Royals and/or Horton and they'll still be on the board at the end of R5. I'll hope so. I mean I totally get it but we’ve forced like three punts against the playoff chiefs in 8 quarters also 😂 the afc playoffs is a meatgrinder of likely hof qbs Quote
