But would it be a huge shock if the plan is Laviska Shenault competing against some Claypool-esque reclamation project?

Maybe Claypool himself?

I’m not as excited about Walker as I am about the previous picks, but he is absolutely a swing for the fences.  First team All-SEC opinion 2023, really didn’t play well last year - hope it was the nagging injuries.  Could be a home run or a strike out.

Definitely. But maybe his downsides can be shielded / negated with our heavy rotation and he plays a select 20 snaps a game.?

Man I don't know. Their plan last year was Claypool competing against MVS. I thought after trading for Cooper they had learned from their mistake. But would it be a huge shock if the plan is Laviska Shenault competing against some Claypool-esque reclamation project? They have told us and continue to tell us they just don't value the position.

My hope is we did a ton of work on Bond and think he’ll be there later and feel comfortable taking him.

I don’t think that’s the case.. but I can hope.

Because we never fixed the defense

And the WRs and TEs are being carried by Josh. Shakir has potential to be excellent but beyond him, there's a bunch of mediocrity. Perhaps I'm being slightly harsh on Palmer but I can't see many teams looking at the room and wanting any of them, possibly Khalil aside.

KC seems to win Super Bowls without to tier WR's

In 2024 they traded up with us for a first round wr, in 2023 and 2022 they drafted a WR in the second. While having a hall of fame TE

I really hate that I always have to be this guy, but why does this regime continue to undervalue WR more than any other position? They have spent none of their top picks giving some help to their MVP. It's so on brand it's almost parody.

Maybe I'm wrong about Royals and/or Horton and they'll still be on the board at the end of R5. I'll hope so.

It's like they say "Josh we gave you all this money, now go do it on your own"   it's ridiculous.

Are we ok at linebacker? Like Super Bowl level? Bernard I can live with. I love Dorian as a blitzer and LOS guy. Milano is washed I think. Not counting on him

safety? Hell no.

I’m listening to his interview on wgr. His voice doesn’t sound fat enough. You know how some people just sound fat like they have a mouthful at all times.

Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown and Juju Smith Schuster is more proven than Shakir, Coleman, Palmer and Samuel.

They also have had Kelce, who up until last year, changes everything.  We’ve never had that guy.  Diggs was not even that.

I just think they feel it’s not as much of a need.

Shakir, Palmer, Coleman, Samuel are locks.

They love Shavers, who could replace Mack Hollins as a WR5 who plays specials. Plus they have Laviska Shenault who has a good chance of making the squad as a kick returner with the new rules.

And again, I don’t feel this way, but I get it from their perspective that there is maybe 1-2 spots available and that guy probably has to play special teams.

Maybe they plan to go big on WR next year and figure this guy can be 1st round talent eventually where as with a WR you kind of know what you’re getting. Trade up big next year for an elite WR?
