What did we give up

If you combin both trades:

Chicago gets: 56 (98pt) 62 (84pt) 132 (18pt) 169 (9pt) -> total points = 209

Buffalo gets: 41 (146pt) 72 (67pt) 240 (1pt)  ->  total points = 214

Really not that surprised by our draft thus far. We complained all season about the Bills needing to improve the D with greater speed, bulk and youth. Thus far Beane has done all of that in a defensive leaning draft.

Two DT’s, CB and DE. Now we have to hope they picked the right ones. Each one comes with some concerns.

Hairston: Tackling

Sanders:  Stopping the run

Jackson:  Still developing

Walker:  Consistency and work ethic

Every pick comes with concerns

I really hate that I always have to be this guy, but why does this regime continue to undervalue WR more than any other position? They have spent none of their top picks giving some help to their MVP. It's so on brand it's almost parody.

Maybe I'm wrong about Royals and/or Horton and they'll still be on the board at the end of R5. I'll hope so.

Let’s hope. Keon is still the only WR drafted in the first 3 rounds since Josh Allen got here. That is malpractice though I did like the first three picks this year.

They read from the book of Green Bay.😉😇😁

I wasn't complaining about smaller DT. Outside of Josh and Cook, if he isn't sulking, the offense is average at best. They're hoping Shakir continues to grow and Kincaid/Coleman recover their pre-injury form. If they don't...

Also got a healthy Samuel who should at minimum be better than last year (not hard to do I know 😂) and Palmer is honestly pretty good.

The upshot is, everyone wanting Bills to use their 5th round cache to improve other picks, they did that.

Stutsman is another RAS guy going to the Saints

Wouldn't surprise me if they move up in the 5th as well to get a player they like. Got the 2 6th rounder and 2 5th rounders. Hopefully thats where they target a WR haha.

I do think we are done for the DL in this draft but man I guess I could be wrong and they could take another DE haha.

OK, I think we just about have enough DL for now, unless they are planning on making that room bigger. MUCH bigger.

Pretty sure Walker does that by himself

There has to be something else they have planned.

Either a trade or maybe they're not done coming up.

All year on this board: "we need to focus on the D, we need to get bigger and more stout on D"

Today: "You can't ignore the O, what the heck is Beane doing?!!"

I’m with you brother. But don’t worry we have a plethora of rotating D lineman and we will probably cut a couple that we recently invested in. Josh will be fine, just put on your cape and color, we’ll get you your one WR in the draft but he’s going to be a special team gunner 😉

Same. I had no issue with the first three picks. In isolation, I can see the promise from Walker. But I really wanted Horton or Royals after trading up. The WR room is weak for a SB contender and, whilst I accept a fourth round pick may not move the needle massively, they can still offer something different to who is already there.
