GASabresIUFan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I may be a little biased since I've actually watched all 3 players in college and all 3 made a positive impression on me. That said they all fit our needs, are guys the Bills have been monitoring all offseason and are guys you can project as future starters. Hairston brings speed that our secondary is sorely lacking and I can see him winning a starting job in camp. He is also a ball hawk. Sanders has the ability to backup both Jones and Oliver and brings real pass rushing ability from the middle. It will be interesting to watch how they deploy Carter and Sanders. We can't forget that Carter is 6-3 305 and can play the one as well. Lastly Landon Jackson is just a sound football player. I think he is a better version of AJE. Success Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yeah - this is a good draft. I feel like the O will average close to 30 a game regardless. We need a top tier defense to get over the hump. 2 2 1 Quote
MarlinTheMagician Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago We have added some athletes - D needed them. More to come. 2 Quote

Article in the Athletic the other day talks about how Carter may likely end up playing a lot of 1T Quote

MarlinTheMagician Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago When the draft picks are put with the free agents, like 1/2 our D stands to be new players. Will be a very, very different D. Check it, and not done yet: Joey Bosa, Larry Ogunjobi, Tre White, Michael Hoecht, Dane Jackson, Darrick Forrest. Maxwell Hairston TJ Sanders Landon Jackson 2 Quote

Yea this is the best first two days of the draft I can remember for Beane since 2018. All are really good players. I honestly think all three have high end upside. And star power is what we needed 1 1 Quote
TFBillsfan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Really hope they hit on their picks. Hairston in reality is most likely the only starter. Sanders and Jackson will be rotational depth pieces. DE: Bosa and Groot DT: Jones and Oliver LB: Milano and Bernard CB: Benford, Hairston and Johnson S: Rapp and Bishop Edited 4 hours ago by TFBillsfan Quote
Wizard Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago You heard it here first...Landon Jackson's nickname will be... Mr. CLEAN 3 Quote
Victory Formation Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I am not a yes man and I am not a homer. If I don’t like something our FO is doing, I’ll say it.. With that said Beane has CRUSHED these first three picks. Edited 3 hours ago by Victory Formation 1 Quote

H2o Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I'm usually an opinionated skeptic. I love posting my Timberlake gif. That being said, I'm pretty excited about our draft so far. I'm especially excited for the prospects of a Jackson, Oliver, Sanders, and Groot DL on 3rd downs. I CAN'T WAIT to see Jackson bury Mahomes. Edited 3 hours ago by H2o 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Love it so far. and his FA moves were immaculate.. Hope he goes bpa from here on out Quote

gonzo1105 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago So am I. I really like what they have done through the first 3 picks. Got a lot faster and a lot more physical on their defense so far which was two things they definitely had to do. One thing I've noticed and it was this way in the past but even moreso the Bills obviously value character players. Every guy that I have listened to is a well mannered clear sounding communicator. On top of that they are taking guys that are not from broken families which I'd have to go back and see how common that was. Landon Jackson is married, Hairston brought his whole family with him and talked effusively about them and Sanders talked about his family as well being special. Keon was a well spoken kid, Bishop and Kincaid etc etc but I like the sheer athleticism of this group moreso than groups of the past. Quote

Maxwell Hairston TJ Sanders Landon Jackson If Bosa can stay healthy and the PED cheats come back fresh, they will have the depth to send waves of fresh pass rushers. If Bishop can develop to a starting role, the defense should be better. Really need Rousseau to be a 14 sack guy. Quote
Low Positive Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Interesting that he has taken 3 SEC guys in the first three rounds. You can't say that the film is against weak competition. 4 1 Quote

Absolutely, but he did it with guys who can make an immediate impact this coming season and you can project as starters. In fact, I think Hairston and Jackson could win starting jobs this season. These picks you could see how Beane projects his lineup this season CB2 - White and Hairston - not sure who starts DT 1 - Oliver backed up by Sanders DT2 - Jones backed up by Carter Edge - Rousseau and Bosa backed up by Solomon DE - AJE and Jackson - I think Jackson’s speed could push AJE to the bench. hondo in seattle Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I've been wrong so many times about drafts that I've given up having an opinion. I don't trust Beane - or any GM - to get all their picks right. I don't trust so-called draft experts to get all their evaluations right. I don't trust my own evaluation of college tape. I do trust time: Time will tell. I'll have an opinion on this draft in 2 or 3 years. Quote
