I suspect Beane will use one of the picks from 169 to 177 to move up in the 4th and take the deep threat WR they need.

Felton, Royals, Thornton, Ayonmanor, Bond, Arian Smith, Cine, and Horton are all still available and all fit our need for a deep threat with speed.

I hate to take this approach but I bet they take a RB.  Cook will likely be gone so they’ll take a guy in the 4th who’ll be a mediocre NFL RB.   Meanwhile, another round of WRs get taken.

Then they’ll take a WR in the 5th who’ll be on the practice squad for 2 years.

Rinse. Repeat.

Nick Nash from San Jose State. Led the country in receptions, yards and TDs. Was a converted QB and only has 2 years of experience as a WR. He ran the same 40 time as Puka Nacua 4.57

I think the Bills need a speedster but I think Nash will be a very productive WR. With good coaching I see him early on the development curve. He recognizes coverage and holes in zones from his experience as a QB.

I’m a San Jose St football fan so I saw all of their games.  WR Nick Nash was awesome.  Yes, he was playing in the Mountain West but he was dominant as he should’ve been.   He’s basically a big slot but so what.  You can’t dispute his production.

He was first team All-American.  He’d be worth a 5th or 6th round pick if available.

They won't be Drafting a RB that high. They may take a guy in the 6th or 7th that will end up cut with a Practice Squad ceiling if he looks good.

But we don't carry more than 3 Tailbacks. And none of James Cook, Ray Davis, or Ty Johnson are going anywhere. Cook's replacement will come in next year's Draft, if he isn't re-signed.

I couldn’t disagree with you more.  They aren’t moving Cook. If anything they will tag for 2026.

They are a ton of guys I really like at WR who could make a strong impact in 2025.  Most are the deep threat guys I’ve previously mentioned.  I am disappointed that Felton got drafted right after I posted earlier.

Don’t forget Puka Nucoa was drafted in the 5th rd.

Yes, should be WR. I think sneakily it could also be IOL if the value is there and the top two guys below are gone.

Tory Horton

Jalen Royals

Chimere *****

Jordan Watkins

The receiver with the best hands, Josh does not need much separation but glue for hand sis useful.

I disagree. Josh is better with separators. It was right last off-season and it's still right.

I was hoping for a speedy receiver in the first three picks.

Now, I'm just not sure.   Guys picked this late usually don't see the field very much, so I don't care who we get.

Then again, Shakir was a fifth rounder.  So, yeah, I still want a speedy wideout.

I'm officially on the Thornton train.  A 6-5 wr who can take the top off at 4.30 would compliment our wr room nicely. I don't care if his route tree is limited. This would cap off a very good draft.
