The Bills are going to picking for an uninterrupted half hour! For more perspective on the rankings discussion from the other thread, a lot of folks had Jackson mocked/ranked as a late-1st/2nd round pick and we got him in the 3rd. So what do these folks really know? 1 Quote

KOKBILLS Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Well... Jackson was definitely one of my more favorite prospects throughout this process... You just have to believe in the projection because he played something like 70% of his snaps at 4I in College and he's a linear athlete... But he's a hell of an athlete. He turned 22 this past January... The 9.78 RAS speaks for itself. Jackson is about as Billsy as it gets. Team Captain... Tall and athletic DE... I think the Bills Defense got a lot better these past two nights... It's all on paper right now, but I'm going to go ahead and tip my hat to Beane... He picked at 30, 41 and 72 and got the number 26, 30, and 48 players on my personal board... I absolutely destroyed the Bills Defense throughout the year last year. Their 3rd Down Defense gave me such agita last year during games I worried about being insufferable on Game Day threads. I went back and looked at texts I sent my Nephew complaining during games with statements like "we're SO slow on D"... "we're just not athletic enough..."...and so on... We added 9.78, 9.63, and 9.38 RAS athletes to that Defense the past 2 days... That really means something to me. And yes they are good football players. To be honest right now I can't imagine I could have been much happier with the 1st three picks in total. Nice mix...good players...outstanding athletes...good locker room fits... I like it... And I think all three have sizable upside. Edited 6 hours ago by KOKBILLS 13 1 4 4 Quote
JerseyBills Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) I don't get into draft talk cause I have no idea what i'm talking about, but Remember seeing someone predicting him as our 1st round pick , so hopefully great value.. Between FA and draft our DL certainly looks alot different, hopefully and likely for the better Edited 7 hours ago by JerseyBills 1 1 Quote

But the idea that we cant wait until waaaaay late in the draft to find some tub of lard who just has to stand there and take up space/blockers is ridiculous. Spend these valuable picks on athletes with skill. Take the fat guy later. 2 Quote

Simon Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago That boy looks stronger than train smoke, but he might need some more counters if he's going to be effective as a pass rusher. 1 Quote

MarlinTheMagician Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I just can't believe the before video of him slapping the tackling dummy. What the heck? Those gloves - I just can't stop laughing when I watch it. Glad there is the combine comparison or I would be crying instead 😁😁🤣 Quote
