BillsFan4 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If the raiders or Steelers aren’t interested, I really don’t know who’s going to draft Sanders. Every other team that needed an QB already drafted one. I still think the raiders seem like a possible fit. I read that Tom Brady was one of Sanders biggest mentors. Brady himself was a late round pick who kept that chip on his shoulder most of his career. But would Pete Carroll would want Sanders as a backup, and all the possible drama that could come with it? Teams may not want to deal with the circus that would come with him being the team’s 2nd or 3rd string QB. Or Maybe the Steelers take him as a developmental QB. On the NFLN broadcast last night they made it sound like Aaron Rodgers would be signing in Pittsburgh soon. They said the Steelers weren’t looking to draft a QB to play this coming season. So again, that question comes in on if a team would want to deal with everything that might come with having Sanders as the backup. But I could see Sanders being ok sitting behind Aaron Rodgers for a year. Quote
wppete Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago At this point I think he goes undrafted. Teams wont want distractions coming from 2nd ir 3rd string QB. This is a huge statement to all future QBs coming out. Stay humble and hungry or there will be a price $ to pay seems to be the message. Quote

The internet is currently teeming with commentary of this being a race issue. That’s gotta make Cam Ward feel a certain way. 3 of the qbs taken before him this draft are POC…it’s honestly surprising they are making this a racial commentary still I don’t even get the collusion angle…like if you come off as an uncoachable prick to a few of the qb needy teams it’s collusion if they don’t want you? 😂. Even if he had 0 baggage he’s objectively not a scheme fit with a few of the teams that wanted to draft a qb this year and if he was a d*ck to the few other teams needing qbs this should be the expected outcome. If his strength rather than his weakness was getting the ball out on time I think Cleveland probably would’ve taken him I really think Deion gave him bad advice for the interview process and cost him a chance to start…I could see a team with absolutely 0 shot at a qb controversy maybe picking him as a backup because he’s not gonna even be able to tank a locker room like that I don’t think. DasNootz Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Baltimore seems like it could be a fit. Strong leadership, has handled personalities in the past, good system for him offensively. Quote
The Frankish Reich Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Sanders may be our first case of a guy whose earnings potential was far greater while ostensibly an amateur. Quote
Doc Brown Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago To me it's really simple. No QB needy team thought he could be their franchise QB and therefore nobody wants him as a developmental prospect/backup because of who his father is. I feel bad for the kid. 1 Quote
Nelius Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If you spend any time watching those cringe videos that the one brother puts out (not advised) it seems like Shedeur legitimately thinks that he has a music career to fall back on if this football thing doesn’t work out lmao, thus all the positivity. Shows you the abject failure of his dad/coach as his advisor. Not working out, arrogant, and assuming he’s going in the first. The same guy who forced U of C to embarrassingly retire his number. An agent or a coach who lives in reality would have seen this coming. Quote
No_Matter_What Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) I don't get what is going on. Watching NFL Network, and Eisen, Davis, Jeremiah and Rapoport were talking how Sanders should have already been drafted and how unfair it is. And nobody mentioned baggage that comes with him, his father and especially how he said that teams shouldn't take him if they are not ready to make coaching change. I mean is that something they are scared to mention or what? Are they not allowed to say it? Edited 6 hours ago by No_Matter_What Quote

transient Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago It’s so ironic that ESPN was proclaiming this was unheard of and that the last time such highly touted QBs fell like this it was Matt Barkley and Ryan Nassib… so you’re saying NFL GM’s might know a little something’??? 1 Quote

What a joke .. 102 kids to talk about and another 150 today. SS his dad and the media own this overhype and they are all pointing fingers at the teams. Absolutely pathetic coverage ! Quote
