It’s personal with Deion, and to a lesser extent, Shadeur. 
 

Hes just not that good.  Theres some Tua ability in him.  Smaller, not a big arm, but throws well on time, clean pocket, good ability to read defenses from said pocket.

 

So, you combine his talent level being more in line with Shough, but having all the extra baggage, it’s not wild he’s dropped. 

 

Deion’s going to want to go to war for his son.. but he also has a program to run and he needs to be careful with how he reacts given players aren’t going to play for a program when the program is at war with the NFL.

I think the Steelers take him.  They need another QB.  Good value here.  And the Steelers org could handle the Deon circus.  Plus, they never fire coaches (kind of a problem sometimes), so it’s not like Deon puts Tomlin on a hot seat.
 

Only contra to that is the thought that PIT wants to take a top QB next year when draft is in Pgh

This is really rich huh. He media does their jobs for clicks. NFL Network and ESPN pushed Sanders front and center. They didn’t get so much as fooled, they got their clicks. The funnier thing is Kiper and Daniel Jeremiah look completely incompetent. Along with all the other dummies that are considered experts. Fields Yates or whatever—the fantasy talking head who speaks with the annoying cadence of a car hobby progrum. These characters thought they were smart enough to stay experts AND do their bosses’ bidding for clicks. Their bosses don’t evaluate 🤣 They don’t know Sanders actually has no pro measurables. So opposite Josh story. Sanders has been coached to his max, propped by others, arrogant. Like the complete opposite of Josh college etc

Tua at least played at Alabama and was deadly accurate. Sanders. Nothing. Take away Hunter. It’s ridiculous

I'm thinking that Pittsburgh interviewing him for hours, with a clear need at QB...then Mike Tomlin going DT instead of picking Shedeur...that was all the league needed to hear. If they hadn't made up their minds already.

 

Tomlin carries immense respect and Shedeur would have been a fool yo get on his bad side, on top any other antics.

Deion literally talked about dictating who his son would play for. 
 

Why would Beane, or any GM, want that?

They don’t draft QB circuses as a backup flyer. They’re the Steelers. I’d bet he’s off their board.

Steelers seem to clearly be on loose terms to sign Aaron Rodgers and the best way to blow that up would be drafting Shadeur Sanders today.
