Supposedly the guy purposefully tanked interviews

Wonder if there's recordings of any of these interviews. Interesting viewing if yes

The ability to scramble like Sanders does and continue to keep his eyes down field and make big play after big play is borderline elite IMO.  64 TD'S only 13 INT's in 2 seasons work.

2 years and get a 1st sounds about right and talk about having a huge chip on your shoulders.

Mercy!!!!

Sanders escapability/play extending is kind of a myth imo lol.  I really didn’t see much of it at all.  I think shough and Milroe are far better prospects honestly

sanders is the worst kind of play extender because he thinks he’s got the physical tools to make these josh Allen/mahomes-like plays and just doesn’t have the goods.  I don’t care at all that he seems overconfident off the field but he plays overconfident on the field and would get eaten alive at the nfl level unless he made massive changes to his game. I think that’s where the cockiness becomes a red flag for teams, they probably don’t see him as very coachable and he needs a lot of coaching

I think the media hyping him up to seem like a day 1 pick did him a huge disservice, his potential to be a bust seems really high to me..  it only feels like a massive fall because of basically media gaslighting lol I hope he gets in the league and proves me wrong but he really seems like Daniel jones to me

I think at this point, if a team has any interest, they have to get Deion on the phone and handle it head on. Tell him they don’t want the headache that comes with Neon Deion. If he’s understanding of what’s being said and why, great. If not, #### it, bullet dodged. The flip side of the Sanders Circus is I suspect Deion would be pretty loyal to an organization if he thought they were doing right by him and his family.

What are the chances he goes undrafted? Who wants to draft him and then deal with all of the noise from a rookie backup QB that won't even play? I'd like to hear a case for which team he would fit on. There's 0% chance the Bills would draft him as a backup for instance. He's not a "Bills DNA" guy and he would just be a distraction. Wherever he goes, the TV cameras will follow and his dad will make a stink about him not playing.

I think he should try and sue the NCAA to allow players that are undrafted to go back to school. Then maybe go to a good school to prove that he can actually play. He will make 10 times in the ncaa transfer portal than he could as a 2nd or 3rd string NFL QB.

He's already used up all his college eligibility.  Do you want to see college veterans who eventually retire from playing a decade or 2 of college ball?  😄

He had 1 more season of eligibility as per the article. You give up your eligibility when you declare for the draft. I do think if you go undrafted you should have a chance to go back to school (assuming you still have eligibility). I feel bad for kids that get bad advice and come out early and blow their future.

Must be a COVID thing that I missed because when I saw he played 4 years already, I thought he was done with college ball.

He'll get drafted, even if it's a 7th round pick by uncle Jerruh in Dallas as a favor to the Neon one.

I see a lot of speculation on this Dallas connection but I have a hard time believing that, despite how he pretends to, this guy actually likes Deion Sanders:

He will make a ton of money plus if he played for an SEC school he might actually prove he can play (or not). He hasn't been all that successful in college and his supporters will say yea because Colorado isn't very good. Well let's see him play for the Alabama's or Florida's of the world where he will have no excuses

I looked this up last night. Since he went to the combine, his eligibility is up. I suppose he could file a suit against the NCAA but that doesn’t seem like the thing to do to improve your image

He’ll play without Travis Hunter. Automatically be worse. He’s not good enough to project to anything special. Milroe is a very good ball carrier, i.e., he has SOMETHING. Name one thing Sanders has… everything is below average or average.

People arguing Dillion Gabriel isn’t as good. Which is a joke because these same people care so much about Deion’s kid’s precious ego yet they’re willing to prop up Gabriel just to knock him down. These TV guys suck as much as Deion’s kid. Kidding me. What an entitled little spoiled brat. He deserves ZERO sympathy from ANYONE

Deion will be running a div 1 football program, how is he going to do that AND helicopter parent? I don't think that's the reason he isn't getting drafted. They basically tanked his value by saying he won't go to certain teams, then apparently coupled that with being horrible in interviews.

That severely limits his market and demand.

The TV people are just pissed that they are not going to get that easy narrative to push all summer. It would have been a constant story, carrying the sports talk universe through the doldrums of June and July. Now they have to come up with actual content. They don't like that.

This is the problem…..

If Sanders and thus your team struggle…seeing more and more media reports, and fielding questions like “will Deon take over as coach.”

That’s the circus GMs and coaches don’t want.

Deion is not loyal. He gutted two college programs for this kid. I’m sure he left a wake in high school too. He cares nothing about Jackson State or Colorado. Why would it be different in the NFL. On top of that (the teams know this obviously) his good won’t be good enough to warrant all the meddling.

HE RETIRED HIS COLORADO NUMBER 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 He ***** all over that universities tradition 🤣🤣🤣

OBJ's dad got him traded with a couple of tweets that shook up the locker room. Imagine what Deion could do with a 2-minute Zoom on The Get Up with Steven A?

Deion thought (hopefully he’s figured it out now) that he’d get a call halfway through the season to HC in the NFL. Guarantee it. The only reason he coached was to get his kid drafted in the top ten. That is it my friend. It’s clear as day.

So it sounds like that problem isn't unique to Shedeur then no? Nfl offices can deal with the outside noise, the problem is how the player himself dealt with the process

Oddly. Weak NFL teams can’t take the meddling because they are in fact and definition of weak. The strong NFL teams won’t deal with the meddling because they are strong and don’t need a bogus QB2.

Amazing really.
