SirAndrew Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I’ll be suprised if he doesn’t go to LV with one of their next picks. 1 Quote
Mango Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago At this point the best thing for Shaduer is to go very late round as a flyer to a team with a strong org, HC, and well entrenched starter hoping to flip him down the road for a higher pick. KC would be a good fit and they can absorb Deion antics. So would Buffalo but I don't want to deal with Deion and his QB son. I will say Shilo seems like the exact opposite. Much more humble and work horse. Hes been nothing but projected as low draft pick/UDFA safety and Prime hasn't propped him up as more than that. I'd wouldn't be mad at taking a flyer on the kid and maybe putting him on the PS. Quote

Not really. You definitely WOULD take a flyer on someone whose talent you aren't completely convinced about. Issues of coachability, he 'doesn't watch film,' a poor interview, teams he doesn't want to play for, and some very obvious Hall of Fame Daddy Baggage means the team becomes a media circus (not in a good way) as soon as this kid arrives. Some coaches can handle all that. Many might prefer not to. And I definitely don't think they got together to discuss 'humbling' this kid beforehand. There are lots of draftees who are full of themselves. That's far from the only problem here. It'll be interesting to see who's willing to take a chance on him! Quote

I know that you love to file lawsuits in US but I don't see any case on his part. Why would any team want to deal with baggage that comes with him and his father? Is he going to sue Bills or Chiefs for not drafting him? Or teams like Steelers, Giants or Browns who have full right to go other direction? If he sues anybody it will just prove how entitled he is. JFKjr Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I think it would've been helpful if Shedeur had someone OTHER than his dad coaching him in college. You have to wonder how things are going to go with a 'real coach.' His brother Deion Jr. posted a nasty remark on social media after the Giants passed on Shedeur. That's exactly the sort of thing no NFL team needs. Interfering family stirring things up. 1 Quote
QCity Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I don't know who is taking this worse, Shedeur or Mel Kiper. 2 Quote

This is actually quite obnoxious. No team would rather collude, than one up each other by taking a player they want. What would they be colluding for? What harm has been done to every team that would make them unite in such an illegal way? What's the lesson? Try and understand why he isn't rated high. How do you know he isn't going to get drafted commensurate with how teams ranked him? 3 Quote

I hope this also stops the media from colluding to hype up certain players while ignoring other more deserving players. Oh please. No NFL team is going to pass on a player to teach their family a lesson. This is a billion dollar business! NFLN keeps talking about how personality is huge at this point in the draft for a QB. These guys are backups, is he going to mesh with your starter? That’s what matters right now. It’s why Mitch is our backup. Him and Josh are best friends. Is Shedur going to help the starter get ready each week? Is he going to be the film junkie? Tons of stuff came out in the last few weeks about horrible interviews and questionable character. Not to mention having a loudmouth father who will be chanting for his kid to get a chance whenever the starter misses a throw? If he was uber talented, he would have been picked despite all that, but he isn’t a can’t miss talent, and at this point, it’s clear NFL teams have something they really don’t like about him 1 2 Quote

As you're rightly pointing out, it isn't ABOUT 'sending messages.' They're protecting their teams. Now if some team thinks he's a good enough potential value to make it worth running the risks, he'll surely be drafted. Maybe as soon as tomorrow. Or, maybe not. Quote

But you're contradicting yourself twice. Now you want collusion? Doesn't Mixen getting drafted prove collusion wouldn't happen? 1 1 Quote

Yeah... But that doesn't exactly effect the product on the field. Sanders might be unplayable. 1 Quote

Kiper was getting into social media arguments with people about Sanders when people questioned his value. Not sure why Kiper is so invested in this but he's carrying on about how many people were drafted ahead of Brady. True that, but Brady was both coachable and NOT an attitude problem! That's stuff you have to worry about with Sanders, regardless of his true talent level. Oh, and the Primetime Media Circus. Damien harris and others are all going anti leagie/NFL on this Quote

And as you pointed out , he was drafted where his talent dictated. NFL teams aren’t interested in teaching lessons. They want to win and that’s it. Anything that might interfere with that in a major way will be avoided. That’s what seems to be playing out here. 1 Quote
