Nailed it. He was a terrible leader. But he is extremely tough and helped elevate one of the worst programs in the country. This wait could be the best thing ever.

Pittsburgh at 83? We have to assume that not drafting any QB means they think AR will sign. Or they trade for Cousins? And they have very limited draft capital.. do you take it on a developmental qb?? Not sure. If not them possibly Rams or Seahawks as a wait and learn QB 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kind of wonder did Deion ruin his kid?  Did his kid really need a HC who would have told him, you're not good enough to play QB in the NFL.  But maybe you could make it as a DB or WR.  But with daddy as the coach he lets him play QB  and it just ruined him.  Recall Jim Kelly wanted to go to Penn State, Papa Joe said love to have you but to play LB.  Now in that case Papa Joe was wrong, but if it was Papa Je's kid, maybe he'd have let him have his way.

Willis was touted as a 1st round pick. He was even said to be "The next Josh Allen" even though he's about half the size😄.  From the middle of the 1st, the guys on ESPN kept mentioning him & trying to guess where he'd go.  The Shedeur Sanders hype is very similar to Willis regardless of their differences on the field.

Not comparing the style, but the hype from the pundits around the QB's. Willis may end up being the higher draft pick of the two.

Was it really any different than any qb who gets hyped up every draft? Especially in a bad class?

 

I think Sanders’ buzz is on a way different level because of his name.

Like I have said, this is what you get when you fill your kid's head with hot air all of his life, making him believe he is the chosen one.  Then, he doesn't get chosen at all. Humiliating.
