Guess he wouldn’t be there at 56, but geez.. what a massive move for, yet another, undersized DT. they get man handled every year in the playoffs but never want to get bigger … they are just determined to stay small 4 2 2 1 Quote

The Bills don’t and won’t use mammoth 1 T in their scheme. This guy can handle the run just fine and gives you 3 downs. NickelCity Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I don't love the trade. At least our 2nd for their third only moves that pick back 10 spots, i guess? Quote
Brandon Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Just now, Brianmoorman4jesus said: We are obsessed with the same type of DT. Get a guy that’s 340 lbs or don’t bother. We can never stop the run and we never win the LOS against physical point of attack teams. Stop wasting time rotating 290lb Dlineman. Get 2 monsters in there to occupy blocks and keep the LBs clean. Stop doing this FFS. How many of these guys do we need? The teams in our division seem to be drafting to overpower us in the trenches, run all over this defense again this year and try to play keep-away-from-17. And sure, we probably get past that, but then we potentially have Baltimore and Philadelphia to contend with to win a Super Bowl. Our response is to add a 4th rush DT to the rotation. Nice. 2 2 1 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago You don’t draft 1T space eaters here. You can do that later in the draft - Collins at 72! Sanders is a good one!! 5 2 Quote

TheWeatherMan Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Beane trading up for players is equivalent to McDermott throwing the red flag…it rarely pans out. 3 1 1 2 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Yeah looking at the trade details now we gave up way too much for this too. So much for that other second round pick. WTF? 1 1 Quote
muppy Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago a bit of a mixed opinion on him. It's never a sure thing any draft pick. He's OURS now. Bring your A game and silence the doubters Mr Sanders Quote

Coach Tuesday Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Bob McGinn’s 8th-rated DT: Fourth-year junior. Redshirted in 2021 and didn’t start a game until ’23. “The Carolinas are notorious for these type guys,” one scout said. “They got size, mobility, twitch and they’re still getting better in their third and fourth year of college. It’s a D-line rich area. He’s a country kid, raw, with huge upside. Really good first step, really good power in his hands. Showed that he can win with quick, showed he can win with power. Former basketball player so the movement is obviously there. He’s a second-rounder all day, top 50 player. He can play a 4 to a 5 (technique) but on nickel and dime he can probably get away lining up inside. That’s what everybody’s looking for: a guy that a good 4i, can play 5-technique, maybe align over a tight end. But, in certain packages, all of a sudden this guy’s in a 3-technique giving the guard something different to work with. That’s gonna be his big value.” Started 16 of 39 games, finishing with 109 tackles (18 for loss), 9 ½ sacks and six passes defensed. “They had some horses on the edge so he was more interior,” a second scout said. “He was borderline first round last year. He can play anywhere. He’s really athletic. Got heavy hands. He can bend, redirect. When he wants to play hard he can be really good. He’s got some typical D-lineman immaturity and work-ethic issues but that guy’s got a ton of upside. He’ll be a sneaky pick for whoever takes him. The reports out of there indicate he’s not really ready for all this.” Arms were 33 1/8, hands were 10 ¼. Graduated in December. “They’ll tell us when you walk through the door he might be their most talented player,” a third scout said. “But the attitude and demeanor … he’s a big-time underachiever. He’s never really put it together. He’s probably going to be disappointed on draft day. They tolerated him … but he underachieved there.” Averaged a double-double as a prep basketball player in Marion, S.C. 4 1 3 1 Quote
