1 of those players is a HoFer lol. The others are the worst player on the OL, and the backup WLB.

Torrence is a damn fine guard, what are you talking about?

You also left off Bernard being a pro bowler

And in free agency after the people who drafted them don’t re-sign them

A few things:

- They traded up for him.  Meaning the Bills wanted him, they didn’t settle for him.  Doesn’t mean he will be a good pick but they went and got their guy.

- He’s not a guy who plays in his 280’s.  He got that low to have better workout numbers.   He will be more of a 300-310 in the pros.

- This is a deep draft for DT’s.  There are still 5-6 other 1 techniques that are available and could end up being quality run stuffers in the NFL.  I suspect the Bills will get one with one of their next 3 picks.

Is Beane trying to reinvent the wheel with theses picks. Why the hell would he trade up for Sanders. Guaranteed he would have been there at 56, or 62.  Beane sucked the enjoyment out of our draft. There were 2 guys on South Carolina better than Sanders.

I havent checked the big board but if any of CJ West, Jordan Phillips, Cam'Ron Jackson, Jay Toia, Nazir Stackhouse are avilable, we have PLENTY of time to pick a big guy.

unlike last night when I liked the pick the more I read, I'm hating this pick the more I look into it.  This dude is a 3T.  Trading up for a 3T is certifiable.  We need other things before another 3T, like a 1T, Edge, S, WR, LB.  But get another 3T.  Totally insane.

So we're just going to play with no 1+tech? What if the other team runs the ball? I guess we could put all of our 3-techs on the field at once. Not sure where they would like up though.

This pick caused me to go look at our payroll, and it turns out we can get out of Ed's contract next offseason with the low low cap hit of only 21M. 😐

Edit: also, Darius Alexander is still available with six picks to go. This could become interesting if he falls that far, but either way, you don't need to give up your 2nd to move up six spots.

So what specifically was the trade up cost?

The actual pick swap was listed earlier, but I se we gave up 212 points on the chart for 210 value. Pretty fair as cost is concerned.

OCT is the worst starter on the OL. He was crummy in the last half of 2023 and even crummier in the first half of 2024. Played well after that until he got dogwalked in the AFCCG.

But sure, future Hall of Famer lol.

Despite the conviction of many fans, I do not think the Bills view the DT needs the same way.  Interior pas rush is a problem they have been trying to address for years with limited success.  Sure, if they were able to land a prospect early who could anchor and rush they might be all over that.  As it is, Buffalo had the 29th rated 3rd down defense in the NFL last year.  They need better pass rush, especially from the interior.

I expect they are still in the market for 1T they can pair with Jones this year and potentially replace him with next year, but i think they have addressed the more pressing need with Sanders, who could end up playing a large percentage of snaps with Oliver.

Uh, no. The draft isn’t over just yet.

Who said anything about a future HOFer?

He’s a quality starter.

Ok friends.

Our safeties are interchangeable

Our two LBers are interchangeable

Is it so hard to believe that maybe they want DTs who can play both spots interchangeably? Carter has already confirmed that's his plan for this season. Larry O has done both, Ed has done both.

TJ Sanders? 297-310 and does both.

Everything is always fair to question...declaring the kid a bust like some are over a name they heard called is wild.  Not you, but others.

Especially when we had him in for a visit and met with him multiple times.  Picking him shouldn't have been a surprise.

I've never seen the kid play so I will give him a fair chance.

Admittedly, I base my original reaction of what the top draft experts say
