3T depth is Oliver/Sanders/Ogunjobi/Carter. can't wait for McDermott to be gone. just used two seconds on the same position we traded up for last season and plays part-time in his scheme.

I'm just curious, how much alcohol do you have to consume before making a post like this?

FWIW, The ESPN crew really like the pick, say he fits what we do.

They also think we should trade Josh Allen in order to draft shedeur “the shunned messiah” sanders so

Sanders had four sacks and 51 tackles. He showed some dangerous interior pass rush ability, and some team sources feel that Sanders could rise in the months leading up to the draft. He performed well at the Senior Bowl practices. Multiple team sources say they have Sanders on the bubble of the first and second round.

He is a better pass rushing DT than Collins.  Clearly what they want

ESPN had him as the 7th DT.

And ... Chris Brown said he hasn't been playing football that long and has lots of room to grow.

We got a stud at DT. Unbelievable pass rusher at DT. Hes explosive. 3rd downs with:

Bosa - Oliver - Sanders - Rousseau

are going to be a nightmare for QBs.

Frustrating.

Just dont get this team when it comes to DL.

Guess he wouldn’t be there at 56, but geez.. what a massive move for, yet another, undersized DT.

Think they panicked. DTs were flying off the board earlier than anticipated. Sanders must have been the last DT they had a 2nd round grade on and didn't want to lose him.

We definitely targeted this kid ...... i'll wait before passing any critical opinion.

I'm betting they know a lot more than any of us.

Now our 3rd rounder i am very very excited about.

Beane was determined to stay with defense.

We are likely picking another DT ...... Safety possibly a WR and an OL.

I was reading comments from Gamecocks fans,  most thought he was an average player.  Beane has picked two straight players that are undersized guys,  this guy reminds me of Boogie who was another 2nd second bust that they talked up and no one heard about for talked about before the draft

Why waste our second rounder for a reach player?

So you'll trust the opinion of casual Gamecock fans over the opinion of a professional NFL GM and his scouts?  Interesting choice.

Personally, I don't actually trust anyone - not even myself.  I've read the scouting reports, looked at the highlights, and still haven't formed an opinion.  I'll wait to see him play in the NFL.

This hate of McDermott is pathological.

You guys just don't have a clue.

To be honest if you have Josh Allen and don’t win a Super Bowl can you even be considered a good HC?

Looks like maybe taking a page out of Eagles playbook, get faster on the back end and get some powerful explosive players on the front lines. I’m ok w it!

The Eagles have a 340 pound monster at DT. That's why they can wreck Mahomes without blitzing and we can't even get within spitting distance if we send the entire front 7.
