Kind of funny how so many haters come out of their holes on important occasions.

Like I have said before, I cannot wait for their reactions when the Bills win it all this year.

Their heads will explode with fury and confusion, as they won't know how to react..

There are people who will say we got lucky, everything was still wrong

Not that these sites are the great prognosticators but ESPN shows the Bears just took a DT who was ranked higher than our pick at the same position. Now….the Bears did NOT take him with our Pick 56. They sat there and got him with our Pick 62! I mean…..really? Why does it feel like we got fleeced?

Because you're thinking waaaay to much and putting media hype and arbitrary rankings as gold.

You draft players from good programs in the SEC who fit what you're looking for and add to the locker room. Some guys are good at finding those players, and some not, and even the good ones are wrong; we have a good one for only the 2nd time in franchise history, unless you consider Lou Saban a GM as well. Soak it in bro

It’ll be interesting to watch Sanders vs Turner.    It’s always something Billsy with the Bills in the draft.  Last year Coleman vs Worthy.   You make your play and move on it’s not an exact science 🤘✌️

Normann Lott to the Chiefs. He WILL be better than Sanders it happens literally every year

What happens every year?  The Bills pick a player ahead of the chiefs and the chiefs player turns out better?  🧐

Niners were likely taking Sanders at 43.

Do you trust Buffalo and San Fran’s front office or Mel Kiper?

Not my point. My point is that a higher ranked guy NOT named Sanders was taken an hour later.

How he fits

“The Bills had a clear need at defensive tackle heading into the draft, and sensing a drop-off coming at defensive tackle after a couple of names were taken, the Bills instead vaulted up the board for Sanders. In terms of what the Bills are looking for out of the one-technique position, Sanders is perfectly suited. Sanders, with his strength at the point of attack, his run-defending abilities, his arm length and how he could grow into the one-technique role while maintaining three-down ability as a penetrating pass rusher, is an ideal solution. He also has enough versatility to play three-technique. Even if slightly undersized for the role, the 6-foot-3, 305-pound Sanders has an arm length of 33.25 inches and shows an all-around skill set to eventually become the starter in Buffalo.”

I have no idea how he’s gonna do but if the bills like him they 100% had to jump San Fran or he was gone

I don't disagree, but I don't know that it was necessary to get him.

I'm not a college football junkie though. Hopefully he just surprises me and balls out. I don't think it's a bad pick, I just want to see them change up what they're looking for in a DT for once.

The DT rankings were all over the map this year. No one knew squat. And each team also values them a little differently.

No point in comparing to some arbitrary, amateur list.

I don’t think people will even remember we traded with the bears lol

Why is that so ridiculous? We didn’t just sit there and wait for a DT. We traded up for our guy. None of us know who has a crystal ball but I look at every pick the same every year. I immediately look at the guys right behind us that were available when we picked. We’re all gonna see, but trading up made no sense to me. None!

The only thing I've been trying to "get" from you is a real answer. FINALLY! Like pulling friggin teeth with you sometimes dude...

Not sure why it takes so much back and forth and "hypotheticals" to put some real names and ideas down. I was trying to have a real convo about it from the beginning but you were giving me nothing.

Fair enough! Your plan is now on record.

And because you got me on record, I will absolutely beat everyone over the head if I end up right lol

Can we explain why we are trading up for another Ed Oliver backup?

Can anyone?

Ever consider they aren’t?  Ed has proven he’s a nobody and he can play 1T, so why not let him?  Let a guy with actual talent go up the field and push the pocket.

I feel like this is an absolute reach. An undersized defensive lineman.

Read the write-up on this kid, one of the most explosive DL in the draft, can stop the run and great at getting to the QB
