Why does anyone here think McDermott is going to change his scheme? Like you have to get over that. I’m not a McDermott guy, but he ain’t changing. 
 

Anyway, they clearly really like the dude. I don’t love the trade, but Beane seems to like to pick in tiers. And he traded up and down in one trade. 
 

And there is nothing stopping them from moving up again. Less amo, but they still can move around. I like when they target guys they really want, regardless of how I feel about them. 
 

And like Gunner said, the 49ers were going to take him.

He is a Chris Jones body type, can play basically anywhere across the dline (except a wide 9)---  I'd say kudos to your bro on comparison!

 

Violent handwork, interior DL of year in SEC.  Had some great games against top notch competition.

 

He has that 1 shoulder/slice thru OL finesse move, just uses his body and hands well.  Gets out of position though because of it too.  Just my opinion from watching some kids.  Think he improved vs run in 2024, stronger shedding blocks. 

 

It's a 3rd down league/passing, and need to get to Mahomes up the middle.

Not the worst but they could have traded that pick, gotten more and still be looking to hypothetically get either Shemar Turner or Darius Alexander.

Love how everybody thinks they know more that Beane. Too funny. I wouldn’t have traded up for him, BUT, I’m not the GM of Buffalo and he is an athletic freak. So Beane is 2 for 2 drafting athletic freaks.

It’s hard for me not to be a McD fan. I grew up with too many years of poor management and lack of player development.

I get where you are coming from...but think about that for a second...by default of that statement, that essentially means no DT he picks is the right DT then, because he doesn't get the benefit when it comes to DT...so by default its gonna be the wrong pick just by the nature of being a DT

Has the issue really been people run the ball down Bills throat? Or that in big games they don’t get pressure?? I’m assuming Bills think he will get to the passer as well as be explosive against the run 🤷🏻‍♂️.. just not sure 🤔
