Lots of complaints here when we needed a DT. Not saying I know who’s the right pick but…. Does anyone know if he’s going to be good? The answer is no… every time.

In this case I'm not sure it's about the player's ability and more about the fit/need. I don't really understand this unless the brain trust thinks Carter is a bust (which is possible).

I mean the reality is that if you can’t rush the passer then likely Beane/McDermott don’t want you on the roster at DL.

I thought for sure it was Mike Green for that much trade value.  I personally think Sanders would've been there at 56.  Wow?...hope he pops....

Ok I was disappointed when I saw his weight, but looking at scouting reports they ALL say he is very good against the run and very versatile.  I just hate we lost our other 2nd even getting a third.

Sanders is a good one!!

He is but we stated that Larry O is a 3 tech and most feel Carter better suited there. Feels like too small in middle IMO. Here's to hope Caldwell falls.

He’s a stud. Not a 1 technique but that’s not what we were going to draft.

This guy could be good, but this is a reflection of McDermotts defensive philosophy.  Smaller mobile DTs.  Teams can run you over.

Not undersized... maybe bit under weight... at 6'4"... I was expecting a 6'1" guy when you said that... guy could easily put on another 20-40 lbs and yet he is athletic.. we will see if trade makes sense if Bean can use some of those lower pics to move up again.
