Richard Noggin Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Hating the obsession with a certain prospect's circus in this thread, HOWEVER, I am loving the sheer volume of different spellings for such a popular person's first name (not even that outlandish a spelling, even for the avg NFL fan to grasp). There is not a serious human being alive with all things being equal that Dillion Gabriel is a better prospect than Sanders. Sanders and his family just aren’t worth the circus for teams This isn't "Mean Girls." If a team thought Sanders was good, he'd be drafted already. Quote

How about Mike White? No. When he is drafted, so is daddy. Deion will be instrumental in driving a wedge between sonny boy and starting QB. Bad for the team. Quote

So four picks out of the first 85 selections. The Chiefs possibly picked up 4 starters. We might have 1 starter out of our first 3 picks. Norman-Lott isn't a starter. He is a backup 3T to sit behind Jones. Don't think Gilotte will be either. He is more a bigger end so imagine he is the rotation behind Karlaftis. But he will definitely get a healthy number of snaps. Williams probably becomes a starter in nickel - when McDuffie slides inside and Williams comes in outside. 1 Quote
T.E. Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I still think SF might take a flier on him. You can't give Purdy $50MM/year if that's what he wants. Quote
Bruffalo Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I like that being a Raiders fan nowadays means you also have to work part time in a haunted house. 1 1 Quote

I will say that if you are a generational talent, you can get away with it. But obviously, his talent isn’t at that level. But Dillion Gabriel is not a better prospect than Sanders. 1 Quote

Nah man there is more to it than that and I get its mostly about Deion being a helicopter coach/parent and teams don't want to deal with that and are concerned about Shedeur taking coaching but there is no way he should be going after Dillon Gabriel 1 Quote

Yeah, Sanders is a middling QB prospect but plenty of other guys have been drafted in premium spots regardless. This is a unique situation related to his family and football background/experience Quote

I still say that the Sanders camp told the Browns in no uncertain terms not to draft him, and they took Gabriel just to throw salt in the wound. 1 Quote

It is when they are not thinking you are good enough to bring in as a starter. Klatt just said it on the broadcast and he is right. Once you are not being drafted to start then personality is as important as tape. That is why guys like Dillon Gabriel are going infront of him. 2 1 Quote
