I notice he actually has done this a couple of different times in his tenure and has made mention that sometimes you take a guy that late that you think you'll have a lot of competition for to sign after the draft.

The Udfa game is insane. Players after the 6th almost want to go Udfa to get more money.

Be curious if we use another high pick on edge, depends what they think of Solomon I guess.  Hoecht is that 4th DE on gamedays, when he's back.

 

The suspensions make the #s interesting.  As of now:

DT: Ed, Quan, Carter, Sanders, Oji

DE: Groot, Bosa, AJE, Hoecht, Solomon

 

That's our 10 after suspension, if healthy.  They'd have to really like someone at Edge, IMO.  We have other fringe options to hold down the fort while Hoecht and Oji are out.
