Ewers was offered reportedly 6 million to transfer but chose not to in order to not stick it to Texas.  I wonder if he is regretting that decision.

Wow, that sure looks like an awful decision. Even without hindsight just a baffling choice.

"He" is Hamlin here, yes?

Yes.

He's gotten better but you can only hide him for so long.

Bills could have easily traded back into the end of the third to draft Watts. They must be cool running it back with Hamlin. That should work out well.

Wait did we not draft Bishop last year to pair with Rapp and pick up Forrest in free agency? If Hamlin is anything more than a hallmark PR stunt I’ll have lost all faith in this coaching staff being able to evaluate what a real football player is. Love the story but he should never set a foot over the sideline ever again

Bishop isn’t really a free safety ball hawk. He’s more of a box safety/strong safety. He would probably be more comfortable in Rapp’s position rather than Hamlin’s. I’m guessing the hope is for Forrest to play FS and let Bishop/Rapp duke it out in camp for starting SS.

Especially when they've got the first pick in the 6th.

I'd see if I could find anybody willing to take all three of them to move up as far as they can get.

I'm in the camp I wanna keep one 5th, but I'm willing to spend 2 to get up near the top of the 4th. I think there are now 3 receivers I'd consider a fit:

Royals

Horton

Thornton

I'd be calling teams tomorrow morning scoping out deals, working out how high I can get in the 4th. And then as soon as one of those 3 comes off the board I'd be trying to pull the trigger.

If the Bills can land one of those guys to add to the 3 pieces so far I'll be really happy with this draft.

Then use the remaining 5th, two 6ths and 7th on the obligatory linebacker, another corner (even possibly a slot guy), a 1T type of DT and either a safety or some sort of STer (whether that is a returner, kicker, punter... whatever).

Yup and if they want to keep two of the 5ths we're looking at getting up to around 115

As a hunter, I'm appalled by the high-fenced canned-hunt nonsense on his dad's wall. To make it that backdrop for the draft is just plain dumb.

Wasn't Forrest celebrated more for his aggressive downhill play against the run while starting for DC? I've seen highlights that feature his run game tackling more than his coverage reps, but that's not exactly a meaningful indicator. And he was often triggering from depth, so...

Honestly think we’re on the same page with all 3 of those WRs (personally like Horton the best). None are the burner that Kyle Williams is but I’d take any of them. Only difference is I wouldn’t stop at 1 WR, hopefully they get Tez Johnson or Restrepo late as well. Don’t care that they tested poorly, they both are consistent playmakers.

PS: I’d be ecstatic if we actually took a chance on Bond. Kid is special but I doubt we would

Or a punter

Yep. We're missing the center-fielder, and I hate admitting I'm really skeptical about Bishop.

After we take a WR next, I'd like such a player, should the value be there.

As for Sanders, he can sell insurance, used cars or:

he is already generationally wealthy.  He doesn't need money.

He comes from a family of grifters.  In the end he will get drafted and then he will make  money off of going late somehow, either through a documentary, a tv series or some form of merchandising.

I wouldn't be surprised if the cameras around him all the time are another bone they have to pick with him.

in the end though rest assured he and his dad will make sure everyone knows they are victims.  They will have plenty of quotes from their favorite space man in the sky and the mopes and rubes who love deion will gobble it up.

that reminds me, I am off to watch Andor.

Definitely a bizarre choice.  You get drafted into the NFL only once.  Seems like it takes just a few brain cells to manage the optics for a couple of days.

He was a 2nd round pick, he better do something. Were not talking about a 6th or 7th.

We're also shy a TE.   We have only two currently signed.   They still pick back up Quintin Morris or Davidson, but I'm not sure that they're better than TE3 material.

I think WR, S, ST and 1T/LB/TE  Which ever guy sticks out.

Wow. Just looked it up. LOL. And sitting there all by himself at a “Bass Pro Shop”!
