So now it is down to Royals or Horton in the 4th round for me.

can't imagine they make it through another 30 picks.

then again maybe its like troy franklin last year and every single person was wrong about him.

I keep seeing Shadeur referred to as a “mediocre prospect”. I’d love to see any mock draft who didn’t have him in the first round a few months ago. I’m not saying he’ll be great, just asking when this “mediocre prospect” stuff became common knowledge?

Seems like a slow processor that holds the ball too long even at the college level and just is not as athletic as someone like Milroe to be able to bail himself out when he hits nfl level.  There’s really no above average traits for him to lean on from what I’ve seen.

Completely fair assessment. I also saw a team that won one game and became a 9 win team in 2 years with not a ton of talent around him besides Hunter. I think at worst, he’s a solid backup.

also, I think this is a bad, blah draft and Sanders falling is the most exciting thing happening.

How many of those 5ths would the Bills have to give up to get up into the middle of the 4th rnd?

All of them?

Nope, 2 should be more than enough to get us to 1st pick in the 4th round value wise.

Ewers was offered reportedly 6 million to transfer but chose not to in order to not stick it to Texas.  I wonder if he is regretting that decision.

This is just evidence that he’s not smart

Okay an end of day two stocktake....

1. Isaiah Bond^, WR, Texas

2. Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

3. Cam Williams, OT, Texas

4. Bradyn Swinson, DE, LSU

5. Marcus Mbow, IOL, Purdue

6. Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford

7. Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State

8. Jack Sawyer, DE, Ohio State

9. Cam Skattebo, RB, Arizona

10. Zy Alexander, CB, LSU

11. CJ West, DT, Indiana

12. Josh Farmer, DT, Florida State

13. DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas State

14. Kyle Kennard, DE, South Carolina

15. Dylan Sampson, RB, Tennessee

Wide Receiver and Running Back will be popular early tomorrow. Even behind the guys on this list there is a little stack of guys in both spots who start to come into consideration early day 3. Would like to see Beane try and get into the top 10 picks of the 4th for a receiver.

Yeah probably have to trade up. And I'd do that for sure. We don't need three 5th rounders.

132 (4th) + 173 + 177 = 1 more point than 103 (1st pick of 4th) according to Rich Hill chart. Probably would take 1 more 5th or at least the 2 better 5ths instead to work.

The fact that Sanders was initially locked in in as an early 1st round pick was a byproduct of media hype and, more importantly, the extremely unimpressive crop of QB prospects available this draft year

The fact that he hasn’t been drafted yet really makes you think there’s a chance he doesn’t get drafted at all.

It’s higher than if he had been drafted

Especially when they've got the first pick in the 6th.

I'd see if I could find anybody willing to take all three of them to move up as far as they can get.

I am listening to Dallas coverage of the draft because I like Bryan Broaddus's info he gets from guys around the league.

They are talking about Dallas loving Royals and how they want to get back into the 4th to draft him.

i imagine a lot of teams like royals.

I'm trying to think of a fall by a player this far.  I can't come up with one.

Yes, but...the "fall" isn't exactly a real thing, but instead is the public finally learning how the league actually values a prospect.

Maybe but he was at least a 2nd round prospect.  He just comes with too much baggage to be a backup.  It's a fascinating story.
