Its like how long will they wait to punish that family before they actually are like okay its deep enough in the draft now to take him.

No one is "punishing" anyone. The NFL is telling Sanders what they think of him as a player.

Crazy as it sounds...I wouldn't hate Bills taking Sanders in the 5th at this point to groom, rehab his image, and trade for value later.

I would absolutely love this idea. Have him hang with Josh, upgrade over Mitch, and then trade him.

only problem is that is the Sanders family would hate Buffalo. But getting him led going forward a great organization with a great qb to learn from would be the best thing ever for him.

I mean, at some point the value is there to make the pick. Is Sanders a better immediate backup than Trubisky? How about Mike White?

Raiders have back to back picks here...I mean you have a legend in Carrol at coach, you just added a beast at RB, you got just Geno at QB...I don't care how bad his interview was...too much value here to just not take him and see if the slide humbled him and Carrol can get his head on straight.

Which means...they wont pick him lol

yes but also shedeur behaves just like his dad and teams were basically shocked with what an entitled A-hole he is when they talked to him at the combine.  I guess someone in INDY said it was the worst interview they had ever been a part of.

The sanders family are not victims.  They are grifters and A-holes.

I wasn't even factoring that into the equation lol. This should be some serious humble pie

Almost starting to feel sorry for Shedeur at this point. Almost.

To me it is obviously self preservation by GM's around the league. The perception has to be that drafting Sanders opens up the possibility of Deion becoming in charge of your franchise.

Almost but nah!!! No sympathy he and his dad created this. Oh and he’s not what NFL teams need in today’s league. Average at everything and not coach able ..

I am just glad that NFL exec’s saw through the incredible amount of media piling on that this kid was a top 10 pick…or higher.

In a QB starved draft, they thought they could elevate him much higher than he deserves. Exec’s are seeing through it.

That being said…. Raiders have two picks in a row…  Would not be surprised if they draft him.

I’m sure his players will love nfl scouts not being allowed to talk to them 😂

its cult of personality with sanders.  These young guys never watched him play and the myth of deion is huge in the community.  He can do no wrong.

They would drink the kool aid and put on the nike's for deion.

Don’t believe that for a second. There is not a serious human being alive with all things being equal that Dillion Gabriel is a better prospect than Sanders. Sanders and his family just aren’t worth the circus for teams

If they hate Buffalo...his career is done.  He would need to go all in on being the best version of himself or no one is going to touch him.  He needs to get out of the lights and fame and just put the work in.  Might be the best thing for him...

It wont happen though.

They may draft Ewers instead.

Take the hint. NFL front offices don't think Sanders can play. This is not personal, it's personnel.

Some people say it's just the way things are today, but I think that character and how people carry themselves still means something. There are a bunch of stories out there about Deion and Shadeur. Deion publicly saying he didn't want his players going to certain situations. Stories about players basically being forced to attend rap concerts. The whole situation is crazy, especially with all these QB's going before him. I think everything else matters.

If he slides much more have to wonder if Jerry Jones takes him as a favor to Prime and as insurance for Dakota. They did lose Cooper Rush. Could be a spot for him

Agree 100%. Being humbled, especially as a qb, is good for you. He needs to become a better leader and his dad needs to be quieter. But the guy was a really tough baller who can makes seem big boy throws.
