I'm not a fan of drafting zero offensive players in the top 100 and once again leaving Allen to do it all on his own. But we'll see if they picked the right players which is ultimately what matters.

Especially if Cook is not coming back

1st round patriots draft a starting LT ... 3rd round Bills draft an Edge that beat patriots Tackle in college ... That's called ownership.

Mmmm he looked to stone him a lot

I'll say this - we just spent all of our premium picks on defense. McDermott got all of the big investments. These players have to show up in the playoffs, no more games against KC where they never punt. In a vacuum I'm not a fan of drafting zero offensive players in the top 100 and once again leaving Allen to do it all on his own. Better get prepared cause here comes more defense later in the draft haha. Still gotta get the obligatory LB pick in and another DT for sure.

As you say, my only concern, with the focus on defense, is it feels like they're expecting Josh to do it all again. He's class - to put it mildly - but he could do with some more help, particularly in the WR room.

I'm going to just pretend Jackson was picked before Sanders. Let's see if this batch of DL picks can get to Mahomes.

This is a must. I like these picks, but it’s a continuation of us pumping many resources into the DL. We’ve found some good players over the years, but nothing that moved the needle in the playoffs. These picks will only become truly significant if they make a difference  when needed most.

McDermott would want to draft defense at every pick regardless of how the defending Super Bowl champion got it done lol

Lol he would.

But he flat out hasn't had the talent up front (healthy), to compete with KC in playoffs.

I like Beane taking swings at what is going to get us to kick the door down....getting to the QB.

Add a speed WR tomorrow, and competition at S, IOl, double dip at DE or DT.  Need to get thru the suspensions.

I hope

Love the traits and he would be perfect with one of our 3 fifth rounders.  He just doesn't have a route tree at all.  He runs a go, a post, and a slant.  That's about it.  The rest of it needs work.  But, you don't see guys 6'5" running 4.3 very often.  I would be happy to take him and see if he can expand that route tree.  In the short term, though, just put him on the field once in a while and just let him run and hope to hit a few.

What are you expecting in round 3?

I have no expectation. I just hope that beane hits on a player like other contenders hit once in a while

I don’t understand the negativity around our picks. Top needs were always CB2, DT next to Ed, and Dline depth.  WR is there next.

Some were mentioning Jackson at 56, we take him at 72…

I think we will be pleased with these 3 players.

Top 30 visitor at position of need

Top 30 visitor at position of need

Multiple in-person meetings at position of need

It's like a Brandon Beane wet dream 😜

Brandon we hope will be remembered for drafting defensive difference makers in 2025 as starters AND depth.

Do you suppose they go BPA or postitional picks moving forward? as always we hope we get BOTH

The offense is pretty well set. If Bonds drops in the 4th, I’d certainly consider the risk/reward though.

One of the biggest symptoms of BBFS is a gut reaction that everything the Bills do is by default the wrong move. It was a good assumption for the better part of two decades.

Fair.

It's still a reach by a round IMO... but yea he did rise up some boards. I take it all back.

Pass rushing DTs have been a hot pick in this draft.
