tl:dr - his mom was on life support and made it long enough to hear her son get his name called. He had been supporting her partially with his NIL money.

 

I would have loved him at 30, and hearing more about his story makes me like him even more. What a sad day, but incredible that he got to share that moment with her before she passed. Rest easy- your son is going to make you proud

He was one of the few guys that I was interested in seeing the Bills trade up into the early 20's for.

Should be a fine replacement for Cam Heyward soon.

Being a dad makes this stuff hit different now...not gonna lie actually got choked up a little bit just reading this story out loud to my wife.  Its like sad yet uplifting all at the same time.
