Burden, Collins and Farmer.

I like Burden the player, but I'm not sure he's an ideal fit in this offense... We need a guy to stretch things vertically and he's at his best when he's running routes shorter and intermediate routes -- the same area where Keon, Shakir and both TEs are already finding heavy traffic...

Agree that they will wait on a run-stuffer, but I'd be a little surprised with 3T unless an obvious one is sitting there... Neither are my favorite, by any means, but Oliver and Ogunjobi should be able expected to give us a majority of the necessary snaps there.

Emmanoari is a day-1 starter for us, Scourton and the BC guy probably get plenty of burn in pass-rushing situations, the right WR could make a big impact on this offense... I'd say package both 2s and a later pick or a '26 to move up and get back something in rd. 3...

Emmanwori doesn’t fit what the Bills need at Safety. Never say never but I don’t expect Scourton to be there unless they trade up like you want to. The moves at 3T and 1 T aren’t necessarily about this year they are about next year because we are old injury prone, not effective, and have multiple Free Agents

DT: Alexander, Collins

DE: Ezieruaku, Scourton, Jackson, Swinson, Sawyer

S: Emmanwori, Watts, Winston

LB: Schwesinger

Out of those I think Collins, Jackson, Watts are most realistic.  Give me 2 of those 3 and it's a very successful round 1 and 2. IMHO

I'll admit that I'm projecting a lot with Emmanwori (knew I was butchering it...) but between what McDermott did with a slow and undersized cb in Jordan Poyer and the many undersized LBs he's been able to turn into productive players, AND some scheme change, I'm more or less hoping he can do something innovative with a physical specimen like him.

On drafting for the future... I get it, and I've never been a fan of Oliver, but we're in our Super Bowl window and we have picks to burn. Go get a guy or two who can hopefully get us over the top.

I think if Buffalo drafts him , Emmanwori, it’s to play him at LB

That would certainly fit their previous model. Like I said, I'm just hoping for some innovation (ala more man coverage)

I have to disagree. Prior to last year when he had a competent Qb, he was running vertical routes and winning. Last season his numbers was down because he had to play more slot because his back up Qb couldn't get the ball down the field.

Burden has some character concerns that I think would have the Bills weary on drafting him. Apparently he's a lousy practice player and would just straight up skip practices at times. He (mostly) shows up on game day but there's been a good bit of reports I've seen that practice stuff. Doesn't sound very processy to me haha.

Yeah there's also those whispers... I think we'll have a good indication of how true those may be based on when/if he comes off the board tonight...

He's unquestionably very talented, that's the kind of guy that GMs will put BS stuff out there to get him to drop. If he goes early tonight, either that was all smoke, or a team is comfortable with it. If he goes later or not at all, there's likely fire to that smoke...

I love Burden here. We haven't talked about him much here. I am guessing he goes super early tonight. I think we will have a shot at Collins and Farmer.

Don’t think he falls too far too many needy WR teams and Burden stands out in consensus before you get to the Harris, Noel, Royals, Ayomanor group comes off

I think you’d be pleasantly surprised on Burden. Outside of Hunter, he’s got the most upside and can stretch the field. Super explosive. I’d love for him to be the pick in round 2. Also wouldn’t mind getting ScatteBILL if we traded cook either. I’m fine with getting DTs and DEs but let’s not just get a need for the heck of it like we did with Carter last year when more talented players are available

Round 2 is a good place to move J Cook (maybe to Dallas).  Get a decent pick to use on some of the upper players. - like Scourton + Collins and/or a S.

And then figure out moving up in the 3rd for an RB.
