We really have a hole there. Forrest - Bishop in terms of potential could be decent based on their physical attributes, but hope is a bad strategy. Think we have a shot at landing Emmowri? Quote

I know he has some speed and has some stoutness to his frame, but can he play Z as a primary position? I know that they need to improve at WR, but this class doesn’t seem very strong and there is only so much room in the middle of the field with Kincaid and Shakir running in there - don’t they need someone who can win out wide? mannc Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago The edge guy from BC seems like a decent trade up target if he gets to 39 or 40… Quote

njbuff Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago South Carolina teammates TJ Sanders and Nick Emmanwori in round 2 please. Then the rest of the draft is gravy. Quote
MiracleAtRich1393 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I'd be more than happy with: #56 Olu Oladejo #62 Joshua Farmer Would also be fine with a small trade back to round 3 from #62 with a wager that Farmer gets there, with proceeds used to trade up into the back end of R3 using 109 to get a guy like Nohl Williams or maybe a value safety that inexplicably drops like Mukuba 1 Quote
blacklabel Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago If I had to try and predict what they're gonna do based on their tendencies the two guys that come to mind are WR Tory Horton and DT Josh Farmer. Three main components the McBeane crew seem to prioritize highly are character/leadership, experience, and versatility. Horton checks all three. Coaches and teammates love him, he was a multi-year starter and was a pretty solid punt returner. He's got some speed and ability to get vertical and open up things underneath. Also, he's already got a Buffalo last name and the dude is from the same area (Fresno) as Josh. The other Josh in this instance is Farmer from Florida State who the Bills have apparently done extensive homework on. Another experienced player who was a captain in his final year. Reports say that he kinda disappears at times but I've also seen that some of that may have been related to the scheme they were running. He improved each year in college and was said to be super coachable. Those would be my guesses. They just seem to fit to a T what the Bills really like in their prospects. 2 Quote

Shaw66 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I have no idea what the Bills will do in in the second round. I would be happy if they could find a way to package some of their other picks to move up higher in the second round. But even if they stay where they are, the opportunity to add two second round talents to this team is a great thing. Hairston plus plus the two guys they can get tonight could be three starters by the end of this season, and that would mean the Bills have gotten a lot better in this draft. My choices would be a defender at almost any position and a running back. If the Bills found a quality running back in the second round, we could see Cook going in a a trade this summer which would allow Beane to add another pick in next years a draft. Quote

Here's what we currently have at the position: Ed Oliver Daquan Jones Larry Ogunjobi (suspended 6 games) Dwayne Carter (wasn't great as a rookie) Zion Logue Thin & uninspiring. For a team that keeps getting bounced bc they D-line has not been good enough, this group is not sufficient. Couldn't agree more. We have always had a soft defensive line with McD. Spencer Brown added a toughness and nastiness to the offensive line and look what happened. tired of not having some ass kickers on the defensive line... that is all on McD and his defensive philosophy. 1 Quote
glazeduck Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Pass on the fat guys. Go up and get Scourton, Emmanouri (butchered that), or a WR if they like one well enough. Get difference-makers now. 1 Quote

To me they’re not going to take a 1T until Round 4 especially if Carter is moving to that spot. I think they go 3T in Round 2 Edited 19 hours ago by gonzo1105 Quote

I think they go 3T in Round 2 Agree that they will wait on a run-stuffer, but I'd be a little surprised with 3T unless an obvious one is sitting there... Neither are my favorite, by any means, but Oliver and Ogunjobi should be able expected to give us a majority of the necessary snaps there. Emmanoari is a day-1 starter for us, Scourton and the BC guy probably get plenty of burn in pass-rushing situations, the right WR could make a big impact on this offense... I'd say package both 2s and a later pick or a '26 to move up and get back something in rd. 3... Quote
BigAl2526 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Alfred Collins if they can get him plus the best rated safety or WR they can get. Quote
