turbo044 Posted yesterday at 05:03 AM Posted yesterday at 05:03 AM I say: 56: Alfred Collins DT TEX - 6'5" 332 - best run stuffer 1T in draft, limited pass rushing skills - if you wanted Grant, you'll like Collins 62: Jalen Royals WR Utah St 6'0 205 pounds with 4.4 speed and solid college numbers. Here's your deep threat that opens up the underneath throws for others. If you don't love Royals, Kevin Williams is also an option. 15 1 5 Quote
Maine-iac Posted yesterday at 05:05 AM Posted yesterday at 05:05 AM Mukuba and then Tory Horton. It's late and I'm sleepy. No logic just what popped into my mind. I like Collins also. 2 1 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted yesterday at 05:28 AM Posted yesterday at 05:28 AM #56 - Jackson - Edge #62 - Collins - 1T DT I can dream can't I ? ... I don't think either will be there when we pick at #56 but I'd like a 1T in the 2nd and then either an EDGE, Speed WR or FS as we all would. 4 2 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted yesterday at 05:28 AM Posted yesterday at 05:28 AM (edited) Some names that stick out to me, in no particular order: S - Nick Emmanwori S - Xavier Watts LB - Carson Schewesinger DT - TJ Sanders DT - Alfred Collins DT - Deone Walker EDGE - Landon Jackson EDGE - Jordan Burch EDGE - Donovan Ezeiruaku WR - Luther Burden WR - Jaylen Royals WR - Jayden Higgins Some would be only there likely in a trade up like Emmanwori for example. But these are guys that stand out for me on the board, and we have the ammo to be aggressive and move up from 56 too. Edited 20 hours ago by Alphadawg7 8 1 1 Quote
KauaiBuffaloSports Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM Posted yesterday at 05:29 AM I’m gonna say Collins also but I for the second pick- Kyle Williams, Washington State (wr) - just a playmaker that’ll add more of a game changing threat. Don’t get me wrong I think Shakir is great but he’s more of a shifty player. 2 1 Quote
iccrewman112 Posted yesterday at 05:41 AM Posted yesterday at 05:41 AM I like Collins as well I think Benjamin Morrison is a great value late in round 2. He can play inside or slot if we think Taron Johnson is losing a step after this season. Xavier Watts as the safety plan B could be an option for some as well. 15 minutes ago, KauaiBuffaloSports said: I’m gonna say Collins also but I for the second pick- Kyle Williams, Washington State (wr) - just a playmaker that’ll add more of a game changing threat. Thrivefourfive Posted yesterday at 05:47 AM Posted yesterday at 05:47 AM If the Bills can get a stud S wouldn’t this complete the objective? We have guys all over the defense now. Up to them to make the pro bowl leap (Greggggg!!) we are weak as hell at safety. 1 2 Quote

Wouldn't we all say prime Micah Hyde & Jordan Poyer were a big upgrade over what we have now? And what did that look like come playoff time? Just remember, it's still McDermott's D. The point is that we could get 2 x studs back there, and the end result doesn't change the way he calls a game. I'm not saying it's ENTIRELY pointless, it's just the move least likely to help this team take a big step forward. I don't think having 2 great safeties back there will turn the tides against the Chiefs. I'd rather double down on our biggest strength - Josh Allen. The side of the ball most likely to see changes year-to-year is offense, so give Joe Brady more tools to help Josh succeed. McDermott & Beane are good at finding defensive talent in the later rounds anyway. 3 1 2 1 Quote
djp14150 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago In terms of trades… they could use their picks in trades… their higher 2nd+ their late 4 th, late 6th, and one of the comp 5 ths and move up 7 spots. Or 2nd+ high 4th they could trade down from their 2nd+ the other 4th and get 2 3rds….like trading with Cleveland for their high 3rd and BUF 3rd they go for Amari they could trade 2 2nds for a higher 2nd and a 3rd. they could trade their high 4th+ 5th and 6th for a 3rd. 1 Quote

That would be a bad investment imo. DT and or WR. 1 Quote
Donuts and Doritos Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) DT all day! Here's what we currently have at the position: Ed Oliver Daquan Jones Larry Ogunjobi (suspended 6 games) Dwayne Carter (wasn't great as a rookie) Zion Logue Thin & uninspiring. For a team that keeps getting bounced bc they D-line has not been good enough, this group is not sufficient. Edited 16 hours ago by Donuts and Doritos 4 3 1 2 Quote

McDermott & Beane are good at finding defensive talent in the later rounds anyway. The years they were healthy those safeties looked damn good at playoff time, damn good. Less so against Mahomes when he was getting four seconds and more to throw, but there really isn't much of a way to handle Mahomes with a ton of time. If we can get a bit of a pass rush, with Bosa and some others, more effective safety play could make a huge difference. Not that I expect a safety in the 2nd, I don't. But yeah, I do think it could help us make a big jump up down the line. 17 minutes ago, Donuts and Doritos said: DT all day! That works for me and it would be my fantasy Beane starts his magic by bundling our 2 4th rds to get a 3rd rd pick. Then our 3 5th rds picks to get a 4th. Last, but not least our 3rd rd. picks to find a trade partner to get a 5th rd pick. That ends up with 6 total picks in the top 5 rds.. That’s about right as well never actually have 10 picks make the 53. 6 picks all in the top 5 rds is better talent you hope, and we pick up depth for the PS with UDFA’s. There’s my wish list. Quote
