In hindsight we pry should've seen this coming with the Bills moving more to man coverage instead of Mahomes/Burrow killing us with a thousand paper cuts.  My hope was Will Johnson but obviously something was weird with the medicals.  I was kind of apathetic with Hairston, Amos, or Revel.  I just wanted a CB given the stupid fish and cardinals took my DT crushes.  Happy with the Hairston pick and someone pointed out that his shoulder may have negatively impacted his tackling ability.

So funny, if you took this poll 2 days ago, Hairston wouldn’t have been top 4 or 5. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have been but Amos, Emmanwori, Campbell, certainly Johnson and probably Green would have gotten more votes. We just did this exercise. I like the pick. The voting here is hilarious though.

When they were on the board I would have gone Amos. Seeing Hairston's excitement when he was the pick won me over right away.

It was definitely not a Gilmore moment.

And you have the bills drafted at cornerback over the last 20 years would you take over gilmore?

Gilmore was a great pic

Seeing as Beane brought back Tre, Dane and had extended Benford then given the fact that Rapp gets hurt as much as he does and I wanted them to get Emanwori !!

That way they could have had their Hyde/Poyer safety team of the next 4+ yrs, not to mention Emanwori running a 4.38 40 being 6' 3" tall & 220 lbs I think that would have been a awesome pick .

Hairston seems to be a really good pick and a Bills type of player but had injuries last season and I just hope he can stay healthy,  because although he is willing like Rapp to put his body out there and go all out will that allow injuries to make him unavailable when he's needed most ?

I still would like Beane to go after Emanwori seeing as he's still there !!!

I would have taken Amos. But I felt it was down to him, Max and Nic Scourton and I was good with any one of them and said so yesterday when asked specifically about Amos vs Hairston.

Where did all the Trey Amos lovers go?   He won the TBD vote in @Virgil's  first mock draft.

Gunner, who in your opinion has the highest ceiling of the three corners that were on the board when the Bills picked?

Well Johnson was never an option for the Bills anyway. Forget him. They were never picking him.

Of Hairston and Amos I do think probably Hairston but I say that somewhat reluctantly because there has been a narrative that Amos is just some lunch pail, low ceiling, averagely athletic placeholder but he reminds me of Tre White and Richard Sherman. And those guys were multiple time all pros. Hairston reminds me more of a smaller version of Jalen Ramsey in his play style. Was interesting to me that he said in his presser after the pick that was his guy growing up. You see the influence in his game.

In hindsight, I wish we would have tried to trade up to 20 to get Harmon.  That was always my draft goal, to get ahead of Pittsburgh because I felt like DT was their choice and others would have gone.

I would have easily given up a 2nd to get Harmon.  We still could have probably traded up and at least gotten Amos, if not another DB.

Nothing against Hairston, but I wanted two impact players, and I feel like all the D-Line impact players are gone now.

I picked Amos but am not disappointed at all with Hairston. I don’t think a trade back was too realistic an option. I do think Sanders would’ve been the likeliest target if a team was trying to move up at that point and with KC and PHI behind Buffalo, why would a team trade back into the first for him? If a team really liked a different player maybe, but who would that be? Was there anyone left at that point worth the trade back into the first?

Seems an infected needle at the hospital caused him to miss significantly more time than he should have?

How is that not a lawsuit??
