sven233 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Man.....it's strange watching the Browns do good things with draft picks. Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I’ll say it. This makes a lot of sense for JAX and Cleveland. Good trade. Cleveland makes picks like this and has lost their asses for how long now? They pick a #2 guy, and kinda blow it somehow, or blow talent away in several ways. Hunter is a star, and they don’t do stars. (Garrett is relatively very low key nationwide; Hunter is being that Noah Lyle’s smile and his new bestie LeBron James to a TV billboard near you.) They had a good roster a few years ago, and I think they can get back there in 24 months. Skipping Hunter and taking more “controllable” team/talented guys. This fits HC’s MO, who I think is an excellent—excellent!—organizational guy. Cleveland is lucky to have that coach. Seems all in line to me. Jacksonville. Why not? New regime wants to splash out on Draft Night. Makes a ton of sense. Good on them for not letting word out (🤣🤣). But Hunter could be in on that narrative tooooo. He’s a character, man. Hunter can rule the roost in Florida, and the front office/owner can get buzzed at 1pm every Sunday afternoon and dream of Hunter in London. 🎻 Quote
