i remember the night he changed his moniker. i think it was a rerun of the episode was on and it was being talked about somewhere in the shoutbox or a thread and he said "that's actually a good screen name."

I think its one on the funniest bits that South Park has ever done, genius

Tipping picks gives me flashbacks to my wedding that was on the day of the 2009 draft.  After a grueling 45 seconds of foreplay, just as I was about to consummate “christening” my wife, she yelled out “The Bills drafted MAYBIN?  This is the worst night of my life!”

The 2006 whitner pick was at my brother's wedding reception. I asked the bartender who got drafted so far - I remember the Bills hadn't picked yet.  He came over and said "the bills picked a safety. Dontee Whiter"... I was like wtf. Then he handed me a list of the picks that I still have.

Then discuss it somewhere else please.

I have zero desire to toss people for it, but if that is what the community prefers (which it clearly always has) then that is what will be done.

For further clarification:

Will I get tossed for my “comments” to the people who do?
How long would I be tossed for?

If I was a moderator I'd so be tempted to put 5 minutes bans on people just for fun. Especially if they told me how to do my job...🫣

Who’s joking.

Then why not set the tone and toss the people who you know are going to tip the pick early now . 😘

Weird fact I read today:

You know that unmistakable, trademark chime they play on TV right before they announce the pick?

The first draft pick they ever did that with was Donte Whitner.

Can't believe the Bills took a CB at #30 coming off a torn ACL.  Boom or bust I guess.

In the span of what, 7 years we went Henry  Lynch, Spiller, McGahee, and had Fred Jackson, too. Oh, and traded for Bryce Brown and McCoy.

Nope. That could actually help me see something that I may otherwise miss.

Although it would be advisable that if/when chewing somebody out, that you remove their tipped pick from your response 🤙

When you don't have a QB you gotta score points somehow.

Psssh, either of us could serve a 5 minute bid without even noticing.

Our coach in high school only asked we follow 2 rules.

1.  Learn to follow simple instructions.

2.  Be responsible for your actions.

Many couldn't and had to learn the hard way!

I think if some posters want to discuss picks before they are announced on television, they should have a separate thread, so they don't spoil the evening for those of us who love the suspense.

I agree with Gonzo, just keep it to yourself, or join a separate thread.  No one is impressed.  In fact, quite the opposite.

2 competing draft threads. Titled:

Overzealous Draft Watch

&

Blissfully Ignorant Draft Watch

Or just "Spoiler" vs "Non-spoiler".
