If the two answers are the same, that's fine.

I really want the Bills to take Kenneth Grant, Walter Nolen, or Derrick Harmon.

I think the Bills will take Trey Amos.

What do you think??

I think the Tre White signing means the Bills are not going to force a CB in round 1, and instead are going to be taking a defensive lineman at 30.  I think Kenneth Grant will be the pick, but they will trade up to 26 with the Rams to get him.

I think any of the ones you just mentioned or possibly someone else.

Insightful analysis!!

I want a run stuffing, pass rush optional, DT that is going to make everyone around him get single blocks.

I’m sorry, but I think going DB with our first pick, or not making an attempt to trade up to get one of those DTs would be terrible.

It has been made abundantly clear for years against the Chiefs, and reinforced during the Super Bowl, that you need a front 4 that can disrupt.  That is our missing piece.

I would rather get that DT and take chances on a DB in later rounds, than anything else.

Honestly, if they traded their top 4 picks and only walked away with 2 players, that DT and a DB, I’d be completely fine with it.

I'm in lockstep with you. Both in who I would like and who I think they take if he's there.

Of course, everything depends on who is on the board when they pick and if they move up or slide back

I'm also very open to a small slide back with a team in the early second round.

I want them to take either Harmon or Grant,  assuming one or both are available.  If not,  I would want them to trade back and take Collins.

I'm all but certain that they're actually going to take the best CB on their board.

As long as they solve the 1T problem by the end of day 2,  I'm OK with it.  I get it,  they need a CB or two.

Yes.....I want the Bills to be thinking:

"We have the best QB in the league, we have one of the best O-lines  in the league, now lets build one of the best D-lines in the league."

My question on this comes from the defensive approach/scheme. When you play effective press man it seems to take away a lot of the quick throws that are there against our mostly zone coverage. Does a shift in coverage scheme lead to a more effective pass rush even though it potentially allows more big plays given up. I’m sure there is some data scatter plot about %press coverage and rush effectiveness, but I can’t find it.

What is this fascination with trading back?  Buffalo has a ton of picks already. Why water down your existing picks just to get even more?

Try to trade out with Giants at 34 and get an extra 3rd. With your 3 2nd round picks CB, DT, DE in any order. Some names Morrison, Porter, Reval(sp), Grant, Collins, Harmon, Sawyer, Swinson, Jackson, Scourton. Or hopefully the rumors of Stewart dropping are true.

I can't get the image of the Super Bowl out of my mind. The Eagles D-line harassing Mahomes over and over again. The Eagles o-line neutralizing the Chiefs d-line.

It makes me want to materially improve our defensive line.

At the same time, I can't shake the feeling that the Bills want to strike at the shallower positions first (corner or safety) and then circle back for a d-lineman later, given the depth of that position group in this draft. So...

Want: Derrick Harmon, Walter Nolen, Kenneth Grant
Think they'll take: Trey Amos or Malaki Starks

I wouldnt pigeon hole this pick, I want them to take whomever the greatest impact player will be at the DL (DT or Edge) , CB or WR position... I wouldnt even be upset if a Top safety fell and we thought this person would be the next coming of Ronnie Lott...  I wouldnt want to settle for a pretty good player to satisfy a specific targeted need like say CB when there is a total difference maker at say WR or DT...  I do think that being willing to move will aid in which position we take because say we have a pretty good DT sitting there at 1... but he doesnt separate from one we can get at 35 cause its a deep DT draft...  to move back... I just feel like this will be a bit of a ballet as the draft board unfolds... that said, I would love to get Grant or Nolen, Revel, Harriston, Golden, Harmon, Starks... would be ok with any of these.

If Emmanwori falls, yes.

Grant at DT. Need that run stuffer to free up Oliver. DTs seem to be plentiful in this draft though, so I'd wait on DT. In later rds, I like Vernon Broughton.

CB I like is Hairston. Speed and decent height. This is the likely pick.

An good Edge may fall to our 2nd rd picks.
