BCAS Baritone Posted yesterday at 01:23 PM Posted yesterday at 01:23 PM Thought it would be interesting to list who the Bills get based on various mock drafts by the "experts". Here is what I've found so far. Of course a lot depends on who goes 1-29. NFL.com Eric Edholm - CB Trey Amos Chad Reuter - EDGE Mike Green Mike Band - S Malaki Starks Lance Zierlein - EDGE Donovan Ezeiruaku Charles Davis - CB Maxwell Hairston Bucky Brooks - DT Kenneth Grant Daniel Jeremiah - DT Kenneth Grant The Athletic Beat Writers Draft - CB Jahdae Barron (pick by Joe Buscaglia) PFF Mason Cameron - CB Trey Amos CBS Jonathan Jones - CB Maxwell Hairston Ryan Wilson - S Malaki Starks R.J. White - DL Walter Nolen Pete Prisco - CB Shavon Revel ESPN Peter Schrager - S Malaki Starks Beat Writers Draft - DT Kenneth Grant (pick by Alaina Getzenberg) 1 1 10 Quote
KingBoots8 Posted yesterday at 02:23 PM Posted yesterday at 02:23 PM I am pretty much fine with all of those. I highly doubt Mike Green makes it to us, and then also have character concerns if he WAS available. Not sure how I would feel, but I have a pretty strong idea how our coaching staff would feel and they would likely pass on him. I feel like Walter Nolan is the guy if he lasts that long, but Grant would be great too. Luckily, even with our needs on defense, we are set up nicely to go BPA, which will most likely also be a position of need as well. 1 Quote
RyanC883 Posted yesterday at 02:26 PM Posted yesterday at 02:26 PM Amos or Grant are my top two fav assuming no trade ups. Barron would be great, can't see him lasting until our pick. My guess is CB Amos, DT Collins, WR Royals, with the first three, and then some combination of: DT CJ West LB Jack Kiser a safety, hopefully Winston JR, Ransom, Bowman or Sanker Edge Swinson, Burch, Kennard, Walker, Stewart or Sawyer. 2 1 Quote
Virgil Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM I can't remember his name, but there was a guy out of Texas years ago that had a really high mock draft success rate. Anyone like that today? Quote
buffalostu2 Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM I just can't see us going safety in round 1. I think they want to give Bishop a chance. Also Trey Amos doesn't tackle like a McDermott D back. 1 Quote

Big Turk Posted yesterday at 03:09 PM Posted yesterday at 03:09 PM Don't believe anything you hear this week related to the draft. There are more smokescreens going up then you would see at NASCAR races if every car was burning oil. Quote
BigAl2526 Posted yesterday at 06:06 PM Posted yesterday at 06:06 PM (edited) What that shows is there is not even a ghost of a consensus as to how the draft will fall or what the Bills are thinking. I even saw one mock recently that projected a guard to Buffalo at #30. The rationale? Sean McDermott wanted to ban the "tush push" because "the Bills were so ineffective at running it." Huh? "A guard would make it more effective." Edited yesterday at 06:07 PM by BigAl2526 2 Quote

Recent years Charlie and Peter Schrager are the two most consistent. Josh Norris was pretty good when he was at Rotoworld but the last couple of year's less so. Guess where he is now he has less access. 1 1 Quote
Nihilarian Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM I would like to see the Bills go overboard on defense this draft, as the defense falls on its face year after year due to injuries. Fill the positions with studs and depth. I think they find a WR, RB in this draft though... 1 3 Quote
mannc Posted yesterday at 07:20 PM Posted yesterday at 07:20 PM One thing I’m sure of is that Malaki Starks won’t be the pick…Beane uses the first round to take players at premium positions. No way we take a safety in round 1, after picking one in round 2 last year. 4 hours ago, buffalostu2 said: I just can't see us going safety in round 1. I think they want to give Bishop a chance. Also Trey Amos doesn't tackle like a McDermott D back. Plus they really like Taylor Rapp…and Derrick Forest is going to be good, as well. 1 Quote

The content (if you can get to it) is great, but the site runs like-- date I say it?--a Keon Coleman 40-yard dash 😱😳😂 1 1 Quote

Coach Tuesday Posted yesterday at 07:29 PM Posted yesterday at 07:29 PM Walter has us taking Revel and I agree his site is full of ad junk. . 1 Quote

This pick would intrigue the hell outta me. Look what Coach did with Benford in 6th (5th? 7th?) round. Imagine him grabbing the #1 Corner prospect on the discount shelf @ #30 due to injury? Absolute physical freak. We could afford to bring him along during the season too. Hed be tempting AF if hes sitting there 1 Quote
Nihilarian Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I'm reading a lot of mocks that have the Bills taking Starks at #30. which, when I think about it, I like it a bunch as I recall how good that Buffalo secondary was with Hyde, Poyer running all over. S, DL, CB, DL are my first four. Quote
947 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Malaki Starks would be a great pick. He's a Free Safety & that still leaves Strong Safety for Bishop if he can beat out Rapp. Starks is a legit 1st round talent, and you can't say that about most of the players who could be available at #30. He'd be a Day 1 starter & monumental upgrade over Hamlin. Quote
stosh64 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I'm so glad all this useless BS is over tomorrow. I hate mock draft season... 2 Quote
