Im not a fan of Josh Farmer. I understand that this was a predictive mock more than my opinion but he has a lot of things you like but I watched him a lot and came away very unimpressed when he became a starter. If you are talking about Femi Oladejo from UCLA I did consider him at the Arizona pick and I will acknowledge it’s very possible both could end up in round 2 but I think Oladejo has a much better chance

Couple of thoughts:

 

1) Love the content - clear, refined, every decision made sense.  You guys obviously know your stuff (we knew that already), but 90 minutes of consistent material is hard to accomplish.  Credit to you guys!

 

2) Bills picks - made sense, and of course would love to see it happen.  To hit all three needs of the defense would be huge.  I could see them dropping down to pick up a 3rd to go after a RB or WR, but we will see what happens shortly

 

3)  Sounds like the audio was picked up from a call by Gunner to Gonzo.  Could you all do a meeting through Zoom and record instead so the mic clarity matches across both sides?

 

4) Hope you guys consider doing this more, maybe even with bringing in posters for segments to cover topics/questions.  I think you guys gave some great content - would love to see it continue!

We were on Teams . I’ll be the first to acknowledge I’m not the most tech savvy guy in the world. I’m sure if this gains enough traction maybe we do it again. 
 

It’s just hard, I do have a family haha and Gunner and I are a 6 hour difference because I live in Central time zone. I used to do a WWE wrestling podcast way back in the day if you can believe that with a couple of buddies of mine but as you get older sometimes life gets in the way.

I think this was a very plausible outcome for the Bills, and if this was the Bills haul over the first 3 picks most would be pretty satisfied and happy with that.  

 

The only thing I would say is I have a feeling in the real draft that DT may be BPA when we are on the clock at 56.  Respectfully I wont give away names of your mock here in the thread, I but I think who you have us taking at 56 may be gone by 56.  

 

I could also see Beane making a small move up from 56 too with the extra day 3 ammo we have to either get who you mocked at 56 or possibly a DT they covet (or CB if they didn't go CB first).

We agreed to no trades in our discussion before hand and I agree that pick 56 could be gone well beforehand. I think you could say this about a lot of guys. Guys could go end of 1 all the way down to end of round 2 depending on how things fall

Oh yeah, I get that, I was just more talking what I think could happen in the real draft with Beane given we have so much day 3 ammo.  And yeah, the guys projected in the back half of round 1 through round 2 all have wide draft slot ranges this year, more so than normal IMHO.  So its tricky trying to guesstimate where some of these guys might go for sure.  

 

I haven't had as much time this year with 2 kinds under 2 now to put into the draft, which is why I didn't even do any of my normal mocks this year.  And the main reason for that is because of just how much more time and work it was going to be this year with all the wide ranges guys could go and how many different ways thing go right out the gate in the top 10...even top 5...picks that would cascade and change everything.  So kudos to you two for putting the time in.

 

Will be a fun draft to watch, I always enjoy them more when picks are less certain/obvious, especially early that can really shift things and make it that much more interesting to follow in terms of who is coming down the board to our our picks.

Hopefully without spoiling it for anyone else: Given the past Bills-Chiefs draft interactions, your selections for their first round picks made too much sense. I audibly groaned when I saw where it was going.
