My kid saw it and said it was great. Wants to see it again so I’ll probably go. Anyone see it? I feel obligated since it is Mrs. 17.

I really don't find her that compelling but to each their own.

I will go to support #17's future wife.

Plus I think she is BOMB

not really my style of movie but for she I'll go. She is an adopted bills sister as far as Im concerned.

Doesn't seem like it would be my type of movie but I keep hearing it's supposed to be really good so I am a little intrigued.  Don't see myself going to the theater to see it but will probably try to watch it once it's on demand or streaming somewhere

I don’t know anything about her, or her movies, but she came off as very likable here promoting the new film.

Not sure if I'll see the movie, but I thought I should post this picture of the future Mrs. Josh Allen at the premiere. For science.

Is that dress a jab at The Hunger Games creators for not casting her as Katniss? Many people felt that she should have gotten that part.

I'm not sure, but if it is, I hope movie producers overlook her again in the future so that she can take more jabs at them.

She can act though. Unlike a lot of these women that Hollywood had kept force feeding us, like Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow & Jennifer Lopez.

At least Hailee Steinfeld has actual talent.

She was the best actor in True Grit.  I thought Jeff Bridges was great as Rooster Cogburn but I thought Hailee stole the show.

I think I’ve been to a movie theater once since Covid, and it was a Silver Spot dinner theater (like Cinebistro). The world changed rapidly on that front between Covid and streaming options.

Going this afternoon. I’ll post a review afterward.

Very good movie overall. The first hour is slow, but has good character development. It’s set in the 1930s in the Deep South and draws a bit on the blues man meets the devil theme (although here it’s in the form of vampires).

The third act is jam packed with action and blood galore. Michael B. Jordan is stellar playing both leading men twins. Hailee is really good in her role as the love interest of one of the twins. She does have a sex scene and uses some graphic language when describing her carnal past with MBJ.

After the movie ended the wife and I headed out. Once we got to the parking lot she realized that she’d left her sunglasses behind and I went back to retrieve them. It was then that I found out that there was an after credit scene that tied up the fate of the main characters. Because it wasn’t a Marvel flick I didn’t consider that there would be one, so be advised, stay through the credits.

Overall, I give it two thumbs up. 👍👍

PS - You’ll never think of buttons and ice cream the same way again.

Thanks, but you lost me at vampires. I don’t do vampires or zombies. I’ll have to wait for the next thing she does.
