RIP! no joke. i saw the photo of the meeting yesterday with VP Vance and thought he looked better than the last time I saw him but he just did not look right. The bloating and age looked scary. I did not realize he was in that bad of shape. 1 1 Quote

Logic Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) My favorite Pope Francis quote: "It's hypocrisy to call yourself a Christian and chase away a refugee or someone seeking help, someone who is hungry or thirsty, toss out someone who is in need of my help...if I say I am a Christian, but I do these things, I'm a hypocrite". A quote which is very much in line with the virtues espoused by Jesus Christ. Generosity, kindness, and charity toward fellow humans -- particularly the vulnerable and needy. A concept which is worth trumpeting, and which is worth pursuing and adhering to. May Pope Francis rest in peace. Edited 22 hours ago by Logic 7 1 Quote
teef Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago he was a good pope. the church greatly needed to take a step forward and evolve a bit, and he was the correct man to do it. 3 Quote

Old Testament addressed the hypocrisy too... "The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God." ~Leviticus 19:34 1 1 Quote
Figster Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Felt the weight of the world and didn't understand why until I seen the news. R. I. P. Quote
