Honestly I doubt Trump actually fires Hegseth for his actions. If he does get ousted, it will be because he’s making Trump look bad.

He said ask the hooties how he's doing?  I'm wondering how the blowfish are remaining so nondescript

No.  I wasn't the one who used the term to excuse Biden's illegal possession of classified material.

I know this is yet another one of your fallbacks, but who initiated the investigation of Biden's classified documents case, and allowed that to be public, then ask who is burning the evidence of their classified documents case as we speak??

What is the correlation here?

There is a reported divide between the deep state that wants a war with Iran and those like Hegseth and Vance that don't. They are doing whatever it takes to get Hegseth out and get someone who wants to drop bombs ($$$).

So, Kamala got smeared simply because she had a glass of wine? She didn’t get smeared because she’s a fake, incompetent  buffoon that shouldn’t be anywhere near public office? Sure.

God you far woke leftists are so smooth-brained.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. And trump belongs in public office? Right! Don't dink and post at the same time.

Uh, who is threatening those bombs again?

I’m sure you’ve forgotten the hypocrisy, but the GOP mercilessly smeared her as an alcoholic.

Vice President Popekiller still brings it up!

So yes, she was smeared for a glass of wine.

I know we don’t always agree on issues, but I guess I can see how hurtful things being said about a candidate otherwise running a flawless, well-designed and well-executed campaign could change the trajectory of a presidential campaign.  I guess I always thought the unvarnished civility of American politics was a thing of beauty, and now, this sort of ugliness rears its, uh, ugly head.

trump is not good at making deals, not good at enforcing deals, and not good at abiding by deals.  If past experience is any indicator of future expectation, why would anyone think they could make a deal with him, that he'd honor?  His expertise comes in chaos and destruction.  Threatening Iran with bombing, at this point, has to be a HUGE yawnfest to them, no matter how much the orange clowns keeps saying, it will be "really bad".  They could probably care less about their populace anyways.  Another great example of why dictators suck, and probably why trump admires them so much.  He actually has to show concern for his people, and that is a negative when it comes to negotiations.  It's much easier to negotiate, when your citizens are cannon fodder.

But it's probably worse than it has been, as far as ultra partisanship, in memory anyways.  Some degree of civility should return.  What it has done is made us pawns, when actually we are the whole damn chess game.  At some point we have to remind ourselves of that.  The whole damn thing started with: WE THE PEOPLE...

I don't really care that Garland appointed Hur because Hur threw them a bone by saying that despite Biden willfully retaining classified material for years, that he wouldn't charge him because he was senile.  I mean, we all knew he had classified material and that he knew it because he kept it in his garage.  And I even said the report didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know (save for him showing it to his ghost writer) and that the most damning part of it was Hur calling him senile because of the implications for the upcoming election.

But as I maintained all along, I didn't care who had classified material just as long as they weren't doing anything nefarious with it, as this seemed to be a common thing among those high up in the government.  Meaning you either charge both or neither.

So you're mad about the transparency?  I'm mad about the lack of transparency and downright concealment of Mr. trumps, which I(we) had already paid for in full. That report, that cost us a lot of money, ended up in the incinerator.  That's criminal, imo.  It's my government, I paid for it, and I have a RIGHT to know.  It's crazy that I had to know Hillary was being investigated, but don't need to know what the established facts of trump were.  Ridiculous!  The last statement you made cannot be made properly if you're not properly informed.  If you never saw the trump report, you're not properly informed.  As for the senile old man thing, it's plausible, but likely just another get out of jail free card for the Washington elite.

If you anti-American traitors once in a while admitted that some of these people are incompetent you might actually come across as critical thinkers.  Its just so pathetic what a cult this is.

No, I was upset at the one-sidedness of the whole thing.  Taking classified material was a common occurrence and either you charge everyone or no one, unless something nefarious was done with the information.  And now that it's been discovered to be a problem, you fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again.

This is rich considering the incompetence of the last 4 years.

Yup, next thing you know they’ll be sending armed marshals to raid the oppositions home.

The good news is more than enough people saw through the scheme to influence the election, this time.

BTW, I keep hearing people claiming that Signal is insecure.  But have seen no corroboration.  I did a search and the first article says that no one, not even Signal, can intercept your messages because of end-to-end encryption.

Kirsti to Pete:  Have you seen my purse?  NO.  Pete to Kirsti: Did you notice any names in the top-secret chat that don't belong?  NO.  Pete to Kirsti AGAIN weeks later: Did you notice any names in our top-secret chat that don't belong, just like last time: NO.

Was this one set to illegally auto-delete too???  Sure, will be fun to find out.  How would you feel about that legally?  That wouldn't be a mistake the second time, that would be blatant disregard for the law.

I just displayed to you what was so "one-sided" about it.  Also, there's varying degrees of EVERYTHING.  That's why you can be charged with different, but similar crimes, also of varying degrees, and with varying punishments.  It's not one size fits all.

He could have released the investigation, that WE THE PEOPLE paid for, or even gave us his own DOJ's investigation.  Instead, what we got is "It's a hoax",then throw it in the incinerator, and blame the fake news.  Crock of poop right there.

Yes sir, he could have. And Biden—with decades as an high ranking official read into the standards of handling classified documents, could have considered his own complicity in the confusion surrounding the rules v what the acceptable standard was.   Given his hubris,  someone in his admin with common sense might have recognized the political peril of seeking life in prison for his opponent for doing what presidents and high ranking officials have done for decades.  That silliness was supersized greatly as Biden’s actions were uncovered.

We, the people had ample opportunity to consider the merits of those allegations, and we, the people responded.  If you truly believe in that notion, you should accept the results.

No no no.  This can’t be possible.  In no way would outgoing officials (fired) ever try and sabotage the incoming administration.

This has just never happens….

But behind the headlines is a bigger story: Hegseth is reportedly working alongside Tulsi Gabbard and J.D. Vance to block war with Iran. They’re pushing diplomacy over destruction—and that’s precisely what the war machine can’t tolerate.
