are there any Marvel or DC Vintage Comic Book fans here at TBD?

Greetings everyone.

 

I have been given a stack of vintage DC and Marvel type comic books.

 

I will post titles if there is any interest.

 

Not trying to sell here but am curious if anyone has any experience or knowledge in this area.

 

I will be busy at google

 

They are all in plastic bags all genres from Christian to Jurassic Park, Guardians of the Galaxy etc

 

I'm afraid to open them I know that condition is key. These are all in new condition.

 

thoughts anyone? I will eventually list sell them. Maybe in bulk.  I am not sure

I have thousands of comics from the 60’s on that I plan to sell whenever I get around to it. Vintage is a relative term, usually for comics from the 60’s or older.  Mint is the term for comics that are in the best condition.

 

There are sites you can go to for price guides, or look on EBay. It all depends on demand and condition. If you try to sell to a comic shop they’ll only offer around 30% of price guides value.

I had a lot into my 20s(I'm 55 now) and they mysteriously disappeared. Have been thinking about getting the old Iron Man , Fantastic Four and Silver Surfers again.  The internet is a wealth of knowledge and perhaps the local comic book store is still useful.  It's been a while for me.

after considering on Google and searching what is being sold on reselling platforms I will post the most valuable books one at a time for resale and just see what happens

 

I'll give a free less valuable one with any  purchase.  Some are being sold en mass already so not worth much

 

🙂 I will be a fun watch to see how quickly these are snapped up.
