Graham makes sense by virtue of BPA. 

 

I only have 4 guys with top 10 grades. He is the 4th of them. But Banks is my 6th highest ranked player and left tackle is a long term need in Jacksonville.

I totally agree on Graham, the "makes more sense" comment was directly related to which player makes most sense for the Jags specifically.  Graham would still be an excellent pick for them, but after all they sunk into Trevor, addressing their glaring need at tackle makes more sense IMHO.

With the 6th pick, the Raiders select Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise St.

 

He's a great RB and while I don't agree that the RB position is a dime a dozen I do think it would be more prudent to wait.  I just think this is what happens.  Carrol had his best success with a strong run game, Spytek (is there a better name for the GM of Tom Brady's team?) came from UM where they loved running the ball.  Jeanty is a great prospect but adding Mason Graham was also very enticing.  Him with Crosby and Wilkins would be a great defensive front.  That said I try to do what I think the teams will do so I picked Jeanty.

I like the pick. He’s one of 3 elite players in this draft. I don’t think that his ceiling is Payton and his floor Tomlinson as someone on Twitter claims, but he’s elite. He’s as good, or better, as a prospect than Bijan and Gibbs IMO. Jeanty is a star. Jeanty and Bowers is a nice framework.

Pretty much...its what happens when you don't have a QB.  You could also say they bet the farm on Rodgers and this was the cost of that losing bet haha.  I still can't believe a team with a SB contending roster mismanaged the QB position so badly this offseason hitching their wagon to this loon while all the other options went elsewhere. 

 

To be entering a draft with a legit roster but no real QB and not picking until the 21st pick is just wild to me.

Yeah and he also fits exactly what that staff wants to run offensively.  Assuming he is there at 6, I would be legit surprised if the Raiders don't take him.

Yep I have a higher grade than I had on both Bijan (who I loved) and Gibbs (who I liked but in hindsight was too low on).

With the 7th pick, the Steelers select Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado.

 

We can't keep spinning our wheels at the QB position and we really believe in this Sanders kid.  Love his moxie and his weaknesses have been overstated imo.  It took a lot of draft capital to get him but we feel it's worth it as much as we love losing Wild Card games.  In an ideal world we'd involve TJ Watt in the trade to help with a soft reset but that option wasn't available.  Also, we informed Aaron Rodgers that he can continue to watch the Dolphins on the Pacific Ocean this season.

For sure and it sounds more and more like it might be Dart instead of Sanders.

I mean in this scenario yes probably considering there is also a lack of top end talent and you need a QB to be successful

Falcons are open to trading the 15th pick, even out of the first round, to stock up on draft picks. We are in Vikings territory for the number of picks we have.
