LEBills Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) With the 8th pick, the Carolina Panthers select Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia The Panthers are in the market for a defensive leader and get one with Walker. A bit of a tweener Carolina will use him primarily as a pass rusher where he generated pressure on 17% of his rushes (10th in FBS). As a bonus they get to bring the high upside local kid home. The Saints and @Mike in Horseheads are now on the clock Edited 11 hours ago by LEBills 2 Quote
Mike in Horseheads Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago With the 9th pick of the 2025 Virgil Mock draft 3, The Saints select Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss. Saints coach Kellen Moore said, “Whew, We got our QB of the future and it was the guy we wanted all along, he’s the most pro ready of all the talented QB’s in the draft.” A three-year starter at Ole Miss, Dart thrived in offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr.'s spread RPO, heavy play-action scheme (No. 1 in passing EPA per dropback in 2024). After transferring out of USC once Caleb Williams arrived, he found a home with Lane Kiffin and left Oxford with numerous single-season and career records, including the Rebels’ all-time lead in wins (28), passing yards (10,617) and total offense (12,117). The Bears and TPS are on the clock with the 10th pick. 2 1 Quote
Virgil Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago Okay, I have to put this out there. It would take all 3 of our first picks, but should the Bills be calling up with DT Graham on the board? He could absolutely be the difference maker we need on defense, handles the run and pass. It would be a huge get for us. I know this trade up didn’t win the poll, but I don’t think anyone say Graham being here at 10. It’s possible the Bears to RB here, but this is the sweet spot, IMO. Please make your case 1 2 Quote
Bill from NYC Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) I vote no. Again, the Bills should be interested in trading back getting and picks in 2026. Jmo. Edited 11 hours ago by Bill from NYC Quote

We can't keep spinning our wheels at the QB position and we really believe in this Sanders kid. Love his moxie and his weaknesses have been overstated imo. It took a lot of draft capital to get him but we feel it's worth it as much as we love losing Wild Card games. In an ideal world we'd involve TJ Watt in the trade to help with a soft reset but that option wasn't available. Also, we informed Aaron Rodgers that he can continue to watch the Dolphins on the Pacific Ocean this season. The Panthers @LEBillsare on the clock. I would absolutely love this pick. Another 5 years of mediocrity for the Steelers. Quote

To me, if Graham is the player he’s projected to be. Groot, Graham, Oliver, and Bosa could be the best defensive line we’ve ever seen. That would be the difference maker in the playoffs we’ve needed. If Graham weren’t there, I wouldn’t even consider it. Also, we could still find a way to trade up and get Hairston or Amos, then spend the rest of our draft on depth for S, LB, etc. I would be very happy going into the season with that team. Also, I don’t see the need for the extra picks, this year or next. Our roster is very close. I’d rather have the few impact players than a bunch of contributors Edited 11 hours ago by Virgil 1 Quote

Please make your case No. Graham is no Quinnen Williams or Chris Jones. I’m not at all convinced he’s better than Kenneth Grant, who could be available at 30. Hard pass. 1 Quote

TPS Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago With the 10th pick in the 2025 TSW 3.0 mock NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select Mason Graham, DT, Michigan. [The Bears received a couple trade offers and would have traded the pick had Graham not been available (Sorry @HappyDays and @Virgil).] The Bears felt they had many options available at this selection, with a trade back definitely on the table, and waited to see how the board played out. Graham was just too good to pass up at this pick and will bring a strong interior push to complement Sweat and Odeyingbo on the outside. @GunnerBill and the 49ers are on the clock. 1 Quote

GunnerBill Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago With the 11th pick of the 2025 TSW Mock Draft v3.0, the San Francisco 49ers select: Walter Nolen, Defensive Tackle, Ole Miss Robert Saleh has returned to the Bay area as Defensive Coordinator but when he walks back into the defensive meeting room he isn't going to find the embarrassment of riches he had in his first stint with Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner, Javon Kinlaw and Soloman Thomas ready and waiting to play on the interior of the defensive line. Jordan Elliott and Evan Anderson are currently pencilled in as the starters and that is a major hole on the roster. Nolen is the perfect style of one gapping penetrator that Saleh loves and while there have been character concerns surrounding him they appear to be about maturity and whether his motor runs hot and cold, rather than anything that could cost him time on the field. I considered Armand Membou here, as our offensive line needs help, but if I'm addressing that in round one I want someone who one day can succeed Trent Williams at left tackle and taking college right tackles then moving them to the left side in the NFL almost always fails. The Dallas Cowboys and @RyanC883 are now on the clock. Time to lock Jerry in a cupboard. 1 1 Quote
